    I read, "The unique feature of the transfer is that you are assured that the pet will reach his new home with all his Paint Brush coloring and regular clothing items, in addition to his Petpet." (credit:http://www.thedailyneopets.com/articles/neopian-pound/). This sounds like the clothes should go.

     

    This is true of clothes that belong with a pet of that color. Elderly clothes will go with an Elderly pet, Christmas will go with a Christmas pet. However, you can't transfer a color-specific clothes with a different colored pet.

    Just a coincidence. Actually, the boon will extend the maximum no. of intel. earned by reading a book from 1-2 to 1-4, based on TDN's guide.

    Our guide is by no means definitive. Especially with untested boons. ;P

     

    I think you could be onto something here Welcome Back Apathy. I picked the book boon this time around and I get old user perks. I'll see what happens to my books too.

     

    If anyone else is reading to their pet, feel free to chime in.

    Just finished Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. It's really creepy good! I've had her book Girl Gone sitting on my shelf for well over a month now and this is the motivation I need to start it.

     

    This is the last week of classes and Sharp Objects was the last book I had to have read. Finally I'll have about two weeks to read what I want to read for a change. lol

     

    Which means finishing the Dan Brown (OMG finally!) and the new Mary Kay Andrews.

    I created a poogle for the purpose of zapping, in the hopes of getting a MSP. No such luck. :( After a few zaps, it got turned into another species. That pet is now my lab rat and is currently a red shoyru. *sigh*

    Poogles are really cheap to morph right now! Only about 15k. I've morphed my current labbie back to a Poogle 3 times now.

    I'm an English Major and taking Summer classes, so. . .

    Right now I'm in a detective narratives class, so I've been reading detective/crime lit.

    I just finished The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett and started The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith. Both are really good! If anyone's interested in this kinda of stuff I can post a really good reading list/Goodreads list.

     

    I'm also finishing up Inferno by Dan Brown, and bought the new Laurell K. Hamilton book Affliction today (OMGAH CAN'T WAIT!)

    Perfect, thank you! (Lol, there's an app for that). :D I'm thinking of choosing the faerie quest boon. The only question is, should I crack open the fortune cookie afterward? How long do I have before I have to make my choice?

    You can pick at any time, but you only have until the timer runs out. Once the timer is gone your boon time is over no matter when you selected your boon. (So picking sooner is better.)

     

    If you have one, I would deff. open a Faerie Cookie. Otherwise there is no way to be sure you'll even get a Faerie Quest during the week.

    Red Slorgs are a prize from the Test Your Strength game and cannot be painted.

     

    It actually even says this in the items description:

    Wow! You cant paint Slorgs red you know! This can only be won from the Test Your Strength game.

    If you want a checkered slorg, you're going to have to buy/attach a regular slorg to paint.

    1: Will this be your first AC? If not, how many ACs will this make for you?

    This will be my 4th year.


    2: Are you joining the same team as you did last year? If not, where will you go?

    I'm sticking with Maraqua -- same as the previous 3.


    3: What are you most looking forward to this year?

    Honestly, it being over. I'm getting a little worn out on the AC.


    4: Who do you think has the best chance of winning?

    Eh, I don't pay attention to this. At all.


    5: What rival team are you most looking forward to playing against?

    I always like Faerieland for some reason.


    6: Any AC goals? What are they?

    Rank 10 -- I almost made it last year, but last year I also had less distractions/homework.


    7: A change you're hoping they made to the event?

    Anything to freshen it up a little! It's getting stale.

    Changes. (Yes, I know what I just said above) People whine at us when it changes, and we're not TNT!
