Apparently not... which is why my brother has been hunting for anything vaguely flammable!!

I think we are a family of pyromaniacs... or just equally frustrated at dad not putting the bleeding heating on!! I was rather pleased to put it mildly!! I've been searching for that bleeding fic for months!! I may have to re-read it to make sure it's not offensive and I won't get murdered by my foster mother!

So I've been looking for a fanfiction I read when I was a teenager for ages. First for myself and then for my foster sister. I could remember the name of the fic, but the site it used to be on is no longer alive. So I've been looking for back doors into it, to no avail. So my brother is helping to clean out my parents home in order to make it safe for my mother when she finally gets home from hospital. And he finds a load of old binders. Many of which have fanfiction in them. So he sends me the names and lo and behold, one of them is that fanfic I have been looking for!! So I get very excited and bounce around a lot, all the while my brother is trying to persuade me to let him burn it and I'm going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! But that sets me thinking. If I had it printed, then I must have had it saved somewhere. And I have one single very old pen drive stick that I used to use to save private stuff on at work before we got given Home Drives. So I go rummaging. And I find it in a pencil case... because apparently, I am almost as much of a hoarder as my mother is. And even better, I find the bleeding fanfic on there that I have been searching high and bloody low for!!! SUCCESS!!! The fanfiction by the way is Harry Potter and the Year of Living Stupidity. It's a rather ridiculous parody fiction that has most of the Hogwarts Professors as incompetents, Harry as an attention seeking brat, Ron as an absolute moron and Hermione as a cat because the Hogwarts staff were too incompetent to change her back in second year. Sirius came back as a half-ghost because the afterlife was boring. Oh and Narcissa forces Lucius to get a job at Hogwarts as a janitor because Voldemort is eating them out of house and home. I'm not kidding, it's ridiculous. "But near the beginning of the school year, Harry and Ron had messed around with some old curses they'd got from a book Harry had sneaked out of the restricted section in the library one night under the Invisibility Cloak. In Lupin's opinion, handing that cloak over to Harry had been akin to giving a psychopath a chainsaw, a machete, and a copy of Mutilation for Fun and Profit, but that was old Dumbledore for you. Anyway, something had (unsurprisingly) gone wrong while Harry and Ron were playing with these illegal, terrifically dangerous curses, and Hermione got caught in the crossfire. Well, I finally gave into temptation and did a few Valentines customs: But with a slightly creepy twist for most of them! I opened a handful of the retired caps, got absolute tat and refuse to open any more, so I'm just going to have to make do with what's already in my closet. Although I did go for the gothic gram in the Mall currently...

And one more today as I finally got around to transferring my Elephante over: Unfortunately, I did not think this through and put him in the Neolodge just before I traded him over and so now can't feed him the peanuts I just bought for him...

You are right about Teeny. This was him at Christmas. He is the King! Bow before him! They follow me around everywhere - Baby Eeyore often comes to work with me... even though he nearly got lost one evening back in 2019 when he fell out of my bag. It sounds stupid to get off a train, get on the next train in the opposite direction and leg it back to work to try and find him, but that's exactly what I did! Someone had put him on the corner of one of the buildings thankfully, so we were reunited!

It's strongly advised that you wait. If you buy at 15, chances are they won't have increased much in a day. I'm sitting on over 2 million worth of stocks bought over months because I'm waiting for them to hit the magic high point!

Teeny and Grandad (bottom right) were got at New Year the year after. Dopey (bottom left) was this year's New Year addition to the family! Aww! Mister Fox is adorable!! I still have Splodge from my childhood days. He's a 'bit' ratty but I don't care! Apparently I tried to throw him away as a teenager and my foster mother rescued him and put him in a drawer. Many years later we were reunited! I had him in reception at least, which is where he lost his eye. I cried so much when the glass eye cracked and fell out that my reception teacher found a button in her drawer and sewed it on to him. That's Sergeant (left) and Misty (right) sitting with him!

And yep, the last two days are good examples of my inconsistency. Garet's winnings have been 30:10 and 32:10. Mine have been 0:10 (I played the pseudo arena as a positive an it did not work!) and 20:10 (I played a different second arena as it looked like it had a higher chance of coming in with higher numbers... it came it at 8:1 whereas Gareths arena must have come in at 16:10 and Gareth had a 4:1 base bet which I changed for a chase on one of the 13:1 pirates).

So far the most expensive item I've had is 18k which isn't bad at all. I'm likely going to be long asleep before I can do this evenings one due to my forgetfulness this morning - 10.47pm was pushing it... 11.30pm on a work night likely just isn't happening. But yeah, I'll aim to do one first thing tomorrow and hope to stay in the race!

Very possibly. He's now awaiting the approval of the altered leave request... by the time they 'learn how to spell their own names' (in his words), it may well be considered too short notice again. But Mum has now been moved to a general surgical ward rather than the ICU and the doctors seem to be happy with her progress! Miracles happened, mum came home. However addiction is as addiction does. She spent a week sober. Maybe ten days at best. And then she went straight back into old habits. Seven days drunk, two days hungover... straight back into drinking. The nurses haven't even finished with the dressings yet... but she's getting comatose regardless.

I went with the stamp today. I'd have been all over the Hegie if it had been included... I do love that little Hegie!

I really like both of these... I was planning on getting a Burlap Meerca when my next Premium change comes around... now I'm torn...! I do love the intricate detail on that jacket!

I hope to be a little more aware when I start an Illusen run next week - I'll aim to do it first thing in the morning (so 12.30-1am NST) which will mean I'm not trying to stay awake to do it late at night. I'll make sure I have less than 50 items in my inventory and I won't try and do the evening quest from the bathroom... I lost at least 30 seconds on that one!! I have to admit, I identify more with Jhudora - I'm a Slytherin through and through. But if I managed to squeak a bronze trophy on Jhudora with at least one slow search, I may be able to manage a silver one with Illusen! Congrats on that gold!!

I got the Level 20 one. I thought I was going to get the Jhudora Day one today and it turns out I already have it... *face palm*

I had kinda loved the absurdity of it well before I got a pet that I could match one too... but the Woodland Ruki and Rock just seemed perfect together! Do remind your Xweetok to pick it up after hurling it. After all, that's an expensive replacement if she loses it after concussing someone! I don't believe I did... I had a tamogathchi or however you spell that... and a lot of stuffed bears! Still got a lot of stuffed bears in honesty. And four Eeyore's; Granddad, Baby, Teeny Tiny and the newest addition to the family; Dopey Eeyore. Teeny named him and it stuck. Yep, neopian economy at it's finest!!

I was just totting up achievements for this year and I'm not doing badly if I do say so myself: - A mutant Ona for my Mutant Draik - A Woodland Rock for my Woodland Ruki - A Baby Yurble - A Maraquan Lutari (thanks FFQ!) - Two kads fed - 3 new avatars (Jhudora level 20, one aged petpet avatar and another one I can't now remember!) Not bad going for just over a month really!

Today's anti-achievement is that I forgot I had a Jhudora streak going in the hope of getting the trophy... so it was 11.30pm before I remembered and I am unlikely to be up that late - I pushed it to 10.47pm accidentally before and was only awake by the skin of my teeth last night. I also annoyingly had over 50 items in my inventory because of accepting the Rock trade yesterday and so took longer than I would have liked anyway... and I had one slower score prior due to trying to do it in the bathroom and not remembering my internet is shockingly slow there. I think I am going to have to give up on Jhudora this month and perhaps try Illlusen next month - I'm at level 25 on Jhudora and level 4 on Illusen, so items are going to get more expensive on Jhudora from this point in. I might see continue through anyway this month on Jhudora to keep my level low for next month Illusen trophy run, but I'm out of the running for the trophy! EDIT: OH I WAS WRONG! I got a trophy!

I mean I've been after a Rock for a while and it was a really good deal. 1.65 for the Rock and 500k for the Woodland Paint Brush. But still... I just spend 2.15 million... on a Rock...

Believe it or not, I just fed my second Kad with some Gummy Pirate Candies that I had only just picked up from the Anchor Daily I believe!!! From 140k to 8np!!!! I think the twee hours of the neopian morning is probably definitely the best time to go for them isn't it!?

I did the Baby Bash capsule as I loved the items and it became almost an event of Baby Fever. And then: I was torn between Peaceful Park and Baby Pumpkin, but I loved the Black Pteri the moment it came out!
