Welp, I've just bought a spare Spring and Eventide Talpidat for 1.2 mil (in total). I'm hoping they either hold value or increase in value as time goes on, but I'm always wary of petpets as an investment!

Well... that's messy. I assume it's not even split across 6 wearables so it would be difficult to pick and choose to make a more subdued look... The other one is too pink and fluffy for my liking!

Final prizes are out! As expected, I missed out on the background but it's a really plain and ugly background anyway so no real regrets there. The plushie is cute as well. I was veering towards tdub as well, particularly as that's more or less a perma custom. I tweak it for Christmas/Halloween but usually leave him alone!

No worries at all, and I'm glad it all worked out for you! I've ended up with 4 or 5 stamps; a complete reversal on last year where I got zilch, nada, zero! I'm definitely pleased with my stamp hoard. I also got the books, only one of each, but that will do me nicely. I'm annoyed that I missed out on one day and so won't get the mega prize at the end, but I only have myself to blame at the end of the day! Great minds think alike! I was toying between regular and Spring. I'm toying with who to use it on. The pets that don't have 'lifelong' petpets and would kinda fit so far are: The Vandy will eventually be Toy though. Currently it seems to fit best with tdub, but I was kinda hankering after a Kad for him...

I was actually good at getting every prize on the day until Saturday. Drat it. Lost out on the finishing prize! But I have stamps this year. Quite a few of them! @Angeló have you got the stamp already? You spotted me one last year when I didn't get one, so I can return the favour!

Thanks! I was both surprised and chuffed! I was expecting a handful of higher end items (but only like 50k high end!) So the two items worth a couple of millions was a pleasant surprise! Awww, so cute! What's the Priceless sticker called??

So, I was clearing junk from my closet as I hit the 650 item limit. Stick all junk in shop. As expected, most items are 600-1200np with a handful of 20-40np. Some 10k items and a few 20k plus. Altador Cup Backpack netted me 50k, Fancy Kitchen Background 65k and Sugar Cookie Wings 80k Then I SSW 'Inside a Toy Machine Background'. No results. Did I copy and paste wrong? Check JN. Holy hell. I stuck gold thinking it was junk! There are a couple of items I've kept knowing they are high value because I genuinely like them (Destruction of Faerieland BG for instance), but I really thought that would be a 10-15np item!! Nope, inflated to 3 mil recently, but fluctuated between 1.5mil and 2.5mil as standard! Also found Angry Meepit Eyes (300k odd) and an ugly as sin Yooyuball Licensed Track Jacket which I'm guesstimating at 2mil odd. Difficult to tell as they are not popular but the last one sold for 1.5mil according to JN. Not bad for a 'clear out the junk items'!

It took me forever to get that background. I finally traded it for one of the big ticket items that came up recentlyish. Might have been the MME. Either way, it cost an arm and a leg. Thankfully I've got all my expensive NC wishes now barring a couple of items that I'd like but aren't dead set on! Yeeeeah, everything has gone up. It's unfortunate but I'm hoping prices will settle once everyone has their dreamies. 90k was rather ouchy, particularly when I had a lab cookie open and had to buy two in one day once!!

Oooh, another prehistoric buff! I say that like I'm one, when in reality I've read one book and know enough to annoy people at meal times! The growth of the giant sauropods is particularly good dinner conversation! And the fact that their eggs were only the size of a guinea pig! In fairness, the original image has a pretty darn big chin!

No worries. I've done it twice now, once for my MSP and once for my Mara Kiko. I have Premium anyway though for the extra pet spaces and SSW so it was a no brainer for me!

@Singledwish123 The lab ray is all about chance and luck I fear. For the species colour change, that's a Premium perk and yes, you can do it once a year. There are two possible ways to do it; 1. Get the colour pet you want in a different species. This is only really helpful if you can buy the pb or mp though so won't help for Robot. It works well for Mara pets for instance, as the PB is expensive but the Buzz MP is 900k or so. You then choose to change species and the paint job moves with it. So my Mara Buzz would become a Mara JubJub for instance. 2. Find a colour that your wanted species does not have. This is easier for some species than others but you're in luck with the Ogrin as there are a few non-existant colours and some of them are cheap. So ignoring lab only colours you have Biscuit, Candy, Glowing, Gold, Halloween, Invisible, Marble, Oil Paint, Pastel, Sketch, Silver, Speckled, Split, Steampunk, Strawberry, Toy and Woodland. You immediately want to discount the expensive ones. The cheapest is probably Glowing or Speckled I think? Followed by Split then Biscuit and Sketch. But after that you're into hundreds of thousands and then rapidly into millions. Having picked one, you find a pet in that colour. So say we're doing Glowing, I see Aisha has a Glowing version. I pick up a morphing potion, change my pet to an Aisha and then paint it Glowing. I then go the Premium Perk Species Change and ask it to change my pet back to an Ogrin. Because there is no Glowing Ogrin, it gives me the opportunity to pick what colour I would like. I pick Robot. You then have a Robot Ogrin! This gets more expensive if you want a pet with all or most of the colours. At that point you may have to go with the fruit Chia (not Strawberry as most pets have strawberry!) and it'll cost you a bit more as you will need to morph to a Chia (around 500k for the cheapest) and then buy a Magical Chia pop (again, around 500k for the cheapest). Hopefully that helps! (Note; you can buy one month of Premium, use the perk and then not renew. So you don't have to pay for a long running subscription to get the perk.)

Never going to like Gnorbu's but both the outfit and the colour are really well done. The candy colours and swirls are brilliant and it almost looks edible and yep, I like the fact that they are designing costumes on NPC's!

I don't know why but I actually prefer the original design. The colours are more understated which works really well. I think I'm still going to end up with one as an honoury member of my eventual Mutant account though! I think you might be dead on the nail with the prehistoric insect thought!

I can see why! I mostly zapped to adopt out, but trying to get that Kiko was frustrating as heck! The Kiko basic potion was around 90k. I suspect it's higher now as everything has inflated due to pet slots! I have loads of boxes on my main, unfortunately I wasn't moving things from my main to sides but the other way around so I was being very cautious with what items I moved. I've actually traded for a couple of items in duplicate rather than shifting them. That was only really with low value items that I don't mind keeping on my main side instead though. It was the higher end items that were traded for specifically for a pets custom that really needed to be shifted across! The Ixi Oilpaint is one of my favourites, perhaps because it's more pastel like. Hah, I think I forgot to include that in my year run down... I'm fairly confident that tdub got his makeover this year. *checks* Yep, February this year! He was a Kougra and my previous goal was to paint him Faerie (again) as I originally painted him Faerie many moons ago and got hit by the invisible random event on Neoquest very shortly after. He then went Cloud and Camoflage before I decided on his final look! The tux is from the Zombie Ixi and then the Oilpaint base. I've opened an FFQ cookie and am hoping for a lucky Fountain Faerie quest. I looked at the current prices for MP's and paint brushes and baulked! Apparently with everyone getting more pets, prices have gone insane. I inquired about a Halloween Hissi MP and the price was 3.6mil on JN but the seller wanted 4.5mil!

I also thought it was Mutant. I might have to get one for my mutant side as an honoury member! Unfortunately all pbs and morphing potions are inflated atm due to the increase in pet slots. Most annoying. I went to buy a Halloween MP and it's gone from 3.6mil to 4.5mil! I quite like the outfit as well!!

Congrats on that lab zap!! Yeah, I zapped for months and kept having to buy Kiko morphing potions. But then I got that Desert zap and despite never having even looked at desert Kiko's before went ooooh, that's pretty and kept. I might try again on my main now I have more slots. I have kept her on the side because I already shifted all the NC items over for her once and I'd need like six boxes just for one pet. I moved everyone else with five boxes across all pets and accounts! Ooh, a Woodland Vandy done well could be very cool indeed. I find most of the oilpaints/mosaics a little too busy. The Gelert oil is quite nice though. Not sure I can go through the zapping hell again mind you! I did just create Voldermorts. He is going to be a Transparent/Halloween Hissi cross with the Halloween clothes. I initially created VoIdemorts with a capital i... but the capital is so, so obvious it's actively painful to my eyes so I tried again for something I could actually cope with. I may finally jump and get my Woodland/Halloween Bori as well. Also Halloween clothes. That would give me... 16 pets on my main. Space for one lab ray and three 'yet to be determined'. Although I'm also toying with a Mara Draik... so that may be one of the three! Amazing how quickly these slots are filling up!! EDIT: Add bit on Gelert.

If anyone is after a misspell, VoIdemorts will be up for adoption. I was trying to be clever and swapped a capital i for the l, but it's really really obvious in the font neopets uses and I immediately hate it! So I've created Voldermorts instead as I can cope with a double mispell but not a pet with a random capital letter in the name. Plus I can't look passed the fact that it's obviously Void.

Your two royals do look awesome together! Well done; that's quite a list of achievements! I love the Woodland Blobikins - I nearly tried to get one for my Woodland Ruki! The Berry Jelly is one of the cute lab ray only zaps as well. I'm still tossing up on whether I want a Garlic Kiko with one of the petpet food zaps - the Kad hotdog is particularly cute! I zapped my Kiko for months before she turned Desert and I liked it too much to keep zapping! Which colour/species combos are you waiting on?
