Yay! So far I’ve managed to get three ranks up on my last years total so I have the hope of buying some good items from the prize shop by the time the tournament is over.  I’m not very good at Yooyu Ball but I try to max out the other 3 games whenever possible. 
Does anyone remember what our final standing was last year?

Well, we didn't TOTALLY lose to VP, we won in slsl and sosd--better than nothing! Holding steady at 10th place. Why is it we never seem to be able to get out of the 9/10 range? ):

This is what I miss. I was in a great guild for years on my old account. I loved it. But now I'm too old and cynical to find a new guild haha. And it seems like guilds aren't as much of a thing anymore? IDK, just came back from a couple years hiatus and not sure of the lay of the land. 

I miss my guild as well and all my old neofriends! I wish just a few from my early days on the site still played. 

I can't believe this thread hasn't been started! I hope I'm not the only one here! With sign-ups ending on the 6th, for some reason I thought the cup didn't start until then! So I started my season yesterday on the 3rd. Oops.

You're definitely not the only one! I quad-maxed yesterday as a personal goal, but was hoping it would help out the team...apparently not. Quad-loss to to Meridell, and back down to 11th place we go. It's still early though, we can do it!

I really miss all of the old plots and such.  I love going back and reading the old plot comics; it's so nostalgic.  I wish they would come out with a good one soon.

I just hate the noise it makes and I almost always forget to turn my volume down. It is strange though, I went three days without it working but it does seem to be working today!

I always join Darigan Citadel, although we don't tend to do that great But they are my team, and I will be loyal. Hoping to get a higher rank this year, I was only 5 last year. 

THIS!! While it would be lovely to win, I will absolutely HATE it if it turns out that the cheaters pick my team this year.   But that feeling makes me feel like a dirtbag because what I'm basically doing there is wishing them onto someone else...
I'm guessing it will be June, I think it's just that the AC's the next big thing to happen so pre-games excitement is starting to build.

Super excited! It's one of my favorite and least favorite site events. I hate the actual cup game itself, I'm terrible at it, can't score at all but I love Slushie Slinger the other side games. I've missed one or two cups but have never joined any other team besides Darigan Citadel so I will always be loyal to them!

Well if the people want drama I am here 2 provide ;o Yeah most people are probably in their 20s now, seeming as when I was younger people were in their teens? The stark difference in my age from now to when I first joined must be an indicator lol

Honestly I'm not sure I miss old Neopets so much as I miss little Me. Though I feel like the site was able to be goofier back then and not so much now. 

I honestly don't remember much from the early days, except that someone hacked into my account and gave me a secret lab map piece! I miss whoever that was. I was almost hesitant to change my password.
Was Lenny Conundrum a thing then, or was that during the Viacom years? Anyway, as a huge logic puzzle geek, I really miss that.

Yes, I remember that an old friend from the game, meet a woman in Mexico in the forum, and eventually, they got married, I don't remember his email or facebook name, so I can't reach him anymore.
The same thing happened to me, I lost so many avatars in that one, the maraquan plot where one that I really like it, also the snowbunny, and all te names of my friends back then. All my game trophies (that were like 3 because I'm awful at them lol). That's why I stopped playing, and came back like a month ago

After reading that a few people have returned to Neopets after being away for years and the recent topic about Key Quest, what's the one thing you miss the most about Neopets? 
For me, it's definitely Key Quest. I would play that game every day, always on 2 player mode to ensure I got 1st or 2nd place. I had gotten so good at those mini games! I do also miss TNT releasing new avatars on a more regular basis. I feel like I'm slowly reaching that point where most of the one's I have left are near impossible for me to obtain.
