You should use uBlock Origin instead of Adblock Plus; Adblock Plus sells whitelisting to websites to allow ads to get through.

They have been removing new Corona/Covid names since the beginning of the pandemic. However, they should add it to the blocked list to prevent it from being used to begin with. It would save a lot of hassle.
