A new Winter and Valentines Day site theme has been added. Wheel of Monotony has been converted and sound effects are back on! Neopets Standard Time clock added to site theme. Neopets has released a new update for the beta layout of the website, which includes adding Quick Stock and Item Transfer Log links to the Inventory page as well as a much requested Shop Wizard update: Users can now re-search at the Shop Wizard by pressing the Resubmit button without having to go back. Quick Stock and Item Transfer Log have been added to the Inventory page. Neoboard pens no longer break the layout on the Neoboards. Updates to the Tis The Season and Neopets Green site themes. A larger update is expected to come before the end of the month that is scheduled to include more Wheels and scratch cards being updated to HTML5, a new winter site theme and more! If you are using "Adblock" as an adblocker, try switching to uBlock Origin adblocker instead. Adblock has been processing thousands of ads on Neopets pages for some reason and it is causing lag. Other users have reported no lag issues after swapping to uBlock Origin.

That could very well be the case. While I haven't tested the trick in beta specifically, it may also depend on which item you are trying to use. They stopped supporting translations a handful of years ago so items released since that date (until current day) will no longer be eligible to work anyway so maybe they just removed the ability to do it entirely because of that. It's still a silly mechanic to have, especially after a site revamp.

I want to like Steampunk so bad but it's way too flat or not shiny enough? Something about it just... missing. There's no pizazz or it feels incomplete? Can't really put my finger on it. The outfit is drawn nicely but not something that's really wearable imo but I'm sure there are people who love it.
