Did you take into account that they started a day late? Also, I think a lot of people would prefer an off day on Mondays instead of on a Sunday. A lot more people are at home and actually have time to play games on Sundays instead of on a work day where there's barely time. Not everyone is stuck at home due to COVID. Just checking it each day is the safest way really.

Congrats on your wins today! Playing YYB against your team took forever lol. Your forward and goalie are sure aggressive. Your forward kept stealing the yooyu form me at the start of the game before I even had the chance to get my hands on it first, Then I'd have to chase it around the field. Your goalie blocked a lot of my shots too, which I have to say was annoying lol. I'm glad Faerieland could keep you from obtaining a sweep!

I wonder if the particularly vociferous CC-haters on the boards will be piping down now... because I suspect that despite their very vocal disdaining of CC, they all have these two big perks! I'm very much hoping CC will be along after the AC. As the summer's pretty open for events it seems reasonable to hope for CC during July? As it's an event that basically needs 13 months for the event to run and then for the perks to expire it happening soon after the AC will set it up for a schedule for the next three years maybe, until it's butting up against Hallowe'en and then it'd need to jump to Spring again I suppose. This is all pie in the sky ofc, it might not happen at all! I'm a strong believer in the power of wishful thinking though. I enjoy CC, and I suppose my entire Neopian behaviour revolves around prepararion for it to a certain extent, I spend the entire year doing my Dailies with Intent; the items I collect from the Money Tree are all r80+ to be saved for CC, and I buy Sticky Snowballs from the Healing Springs throughout the day. No other spending than those 25 NPs for those though. I taught myself the Money Tree items (pretty proud of my MS-addled brain for managing it, but, you know, repetition and all that, basic learning technique). I saved them in JN wish lists until I knew them. Obsessive, much? xD I'll share the link to my list once JN's stopped being broken, so anyone else who wants to be as obsessive of me can be! >8D As an aside, how are the smilies behaving for you? You'll notice I used the neopets ones as the forum ones - apart from having reverted to a much earlier version which is neither here nor there - are taking about a year to load lately so I gave up trying. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you want to reassure yourself, just play a game of sosd and see if your count increases. It'll only take the one so just a few seconds of your life lost. Just play 3 of any game today for the NP.

I've done the same as last year; given one new player a chance in the first round. I've picked Gutterfoot because pink hair. B) I usually choose Ehlo Froyo as goalie, but she didn't do quite so well last year. I'm hoping Raven does well and I can switch her out with Scrappy, simply because I don't like Scrappy xD Though gotta admit, she's not so annoying now that she's not doing NT stuff so is out of our faces. xD Ideally I'd like an all-girl team, but I'd also like the best chance at good points... Agog's pretty good... do I switch... CAN'T DECIDE!

I have to admit that I dislike AC and one of the reasons is because it demands you to keep playing the same game for 3 weeks for hours every day! It's not like Daily Dare where you have a different game daily and where there are 2 options (either Abigail or AAA) and 4 different trophies. In AC you have 20 rankings! For you to reach the All Star title you must play for hours that annoying/disturbing/nerve-wracking game. I see AC as psychological torture! You're not "forced" to reach All Star that's for sure but... for your team to have good results... you have kind of have to. And that's why I dislike it. I like the event in a general way because there are so many interesting teams. My favorites are Faerieland (I always join them), Shenkuu and Maraqua l know that Faerieland can't win (or to be on TOP2) and that Maraqua had some good results in the past so I'm hoping that Shenkuu can win in the future. It has more chances than Faerieland for sure

To all Moltara Supporters: I'm writing a piece for the NT about the Molatra team and why they seem to be consistently seem to place low in the rankings. The first section is an entirely fictionalised interview with the team captain but if anyone has anything they'd like to see said, I can integrate it into either a separate fan section or merge it into behind the scenes staff comments depending. So, is there anything you want said?

This is from the rules, so I don't understand where you're getting the 5 days from. If you take into count that the cup started on the 2nd, the 7th day would be today as the break day. The next break day will be on the 15th. I'm not sure about the others as that depends on when this round is over. In previous years a LOT of people complained about the break days being on Sundays so that could be why they were switched this year too, or rather why the cup started a day late. In case anyone else is wondering about the bye-days.

Oh, I didn't know that! Thanks for the info! I assumed automatically that you got a new one by changing teams but that you kept your old one... but then I didn't play in 2018 or 2019 so that explains rather a lot really!

*nods* Sounds like a "necessary evil" then. TNT also has had a similar attitude/policy for ages in regards to the battledome. They just set the stage, and we have to deal with it as things are. Like over-powered opponents in the BD, even with the old Battledome. It makes some measure of sense, even if it can be frustrating at times. My biggest issue, is that the once-per-battle items and abilities could be used an unlimited amount of times by the 1-p opponents, while we are restricted to their limited use. It isn't fair, but hey neither is life nor some games. I'd like to see more Str/Def boosts for pets in the BD, but I seriously doubt that'll happen anytime soon, or even ever. *sigh*

Don't feel let down mate. Usually in the case of an intended pet day falling on a Saturday or Sunday (in this case, JubJub Day), TNT will post the news for that said pet day on the Monday afternoon or evening NST after that weekend. Keep your eyes peeled around the 2 PM NST to 5 or 6 PM NST timeframe (TNT dependent) for a JubJub colour, outfit, and other themed goodies (if any).

The avatar was released in 2018 along with the other teams, so if you switch to a new team next year, you'll lose this avatar, but luckily it doesn't count towards your overall avatar total. They're granted once you reach rank 1.

Accidentally right-mouse clicking the screen, while playing YYB. It brings up an Adobe Flash box that you must click "Close". While the box is open, I cannot control my player(s). And, the screen change/refocus in YYB. Sometimes, if you are on the right side of the field, and go to the left side, generally at the bottom, the game screen will "shift/refocus". Not super bad, but just weird/strange. Of course, the mind-numbing, monotonous, corporal tunnel causing game play. AC hasn't really changed, since the beginning. The same 4 games. The same number of days (roughly). And, even if you reach All-Star, it's still not enough points for the top AC Shop prizes, let alone to get more than one. I love/hate AC. Last thing. The (incredible) guilt I feel, when I don't score with the Clockwork YooYu. Are they able to repair it, or, it is gone forever? It's all my fault, if it explodes.

So I admit; I created a Koi and I took a bit of a liberty with naming it. I often create and name pets to remind me of people or events - so several pets are named for individuals and akcornBA is my intials made into a word followed by my graduation honorific. In light of the lockdown I created my little Koi and rather tongue in cheek named him Coronaville. Promptly gave him some clothes and wandered back to work: Came back to my account to find this: I suppose I broke rule number 5? 5. Neopets is not the place to discuss "heated topics" or world issues I think that's the first official warning I've had in well over ten years ever since I sent a message with a normal word in it that apparently got flagged on their filters because it contained another word in the middle of it. Admittedly, I cannot now remember what the word/s were! I have also lost the two non-NC items the pet was wearing annoyingly. I am not going to risk emailing the Neopets team in case my account actually gets locked. I know the AAA Host Cane - annoyingly 8000np to replace - but can't remember the name of the hat. Any ideas?
