  2. Things are changing rapidly here so there will still be changes and I expect that number to be lowered. I know it's crazy how people are disregarding some aspects of social distancing and isolation. I know my in-laws just want to see their grand-kids but still. I know they watch the news and health officials are advising against visiting family, so you'd think they'd get the message. We'll just have to wait and see what April brings us. Thanks! My girls really enjoyed it! Olaf's arms, hair, eyes and coal buttons were indeed oreo crumbs. The cake looked a lot better until I added those. I should have just made a chocolate whipped cream and piped them. EDIT Monday Morning: Yesterday my Mr. went into our little city to pick up an air purifier for our home. Our home is really dusty and it gets worse in the summer months. We're hoping that with the air purifier it will help eliminate dust and allergens and help as all to stay healthier. Our furnace filter and regular cleaning of the vents can only do so much. While he was in town I sent him to pick up a few groceries while he's there. Things are cheaper there then they are in our little town. Guess what he found on the shelf at one store?? The ever elusive bathroom tissue. There were two packs and the customer limit is two, but instead of being greedy he only got one. So things are starting to normalize here slowly. According to health officials we are slowly starting to see a flattening of the curve from all our isolation and social distancing so I'm glad it's taking affect. Our province's cases are still rising with 46 in hospital and 14 of those in the ICU. Today I have to go pick up my daughter's learning packet for the week. I'm excited to see what's in there. It'll be good to finally know what to expect each week for my daughter to complete. Once she's completed those lessons we can continue building on her skills with the resources I've purchased for her. Funny Kai happenings: Yesterday it was rather warm out so a fair bit of melting took place turning parts of our yard muddy and making it easier for Kai to excavate. We had just put groceries away and knew his feet would be dirty. My husband went upstairs to get a towel so I could wipe Kai's paws when he came in. He had to wait at the door and he had this sad look on his face like he knew he was naughty. My husband lets him in while he's blocking the path to go upstairs and I'm blocking the path to the rest of the house. Kai right away lays down to let me clean his paws. Even his belly was dirty. I cleaned him up as best I could and he was still banished to lay by the door until the dirt dried and fell off his fur. In that way I love his self-cleaning coat!

  3. That's pretty cute for a zombie! And I've just realised how simple yet clever this pet's species name is. Moltenore. molten ore... took me long enough to figure that out! xD I think because when you read the single word you put the emphasis in a different place (makes excuses for self xD) Just doesn't go with the look, does it! The ray is fired at thenameisalice... ... and he gains 3 defence points!!!! Nothing looks different about Spiffy but you can sense something happened. It becomes evident later when it tries to climb a tree but breaks off the branch instead. The ray has increased its level to: 2 That's clever that soot can climb trees, maybe it really is these guys!!

  5. Stay safe, Big Bro Meanwhile, we got an annoying Amber Alert text to yell at us to Stay-at-Home! My mom was going to see her family physician (she has a wound on her ankle that won't heal & keeps bleeding/oozing through her sock) but when she wanted to just send them a picture through a virtual medical chat portal, her doctor insisted that she come in for an examination. But driving to the appointment, she got that annoying text & reading the part about "violators will be fined and/or including 180 days of jail time" and called her doctor to reschedule it to tomorrow (Sat.) that there might be a slow down but we got 19 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing my county, Harris, to 135 confirmed cases with only 13 ppl having recovered from this virus and 1 death from the virus. Harris is in the Northwest corner of Houston and the whole of Houston has surpassed 400 cases. Trying to stay positive & now the battle begins with my dad. He went to work on Monday & opened up his email to read that his company ordered everyone NOT to come into work but to work from home as much as can be done. He wants me to go to Jumma' prayer with him this afternoon, while our Masjid is small and only about 20 men show up for Friday prayers, it isn't following the Stay-at-Home Orders. Why can't he be like mom and try to be more cautious? He is the one with the compromised immune system. (He is in remission from bladder cancer). *sigh* This is my teenage life, don't go outside to play basketball-get inside and play video games! Who knew? Take care everyone. Peace be with you all.

  6. I'm a doctor and I'm at the hospital daily .. nothing changed really .. but number of "normal" patients have decreased due to people being afraid of visiting hospitals , although there is no Covid-19 unit where i work ... they get sent somewhere else ... but anyone who is suffering from the slightest respiratory symptoms is coming in for x-ray / scans .. in my region there are no reported confirmed cases so far .. but in the capital Beirut and regions closer to it there are about 300 confirmed cases , most came from abroad (they were in Iran , UK & Italy) .. which is still considered low-to-medium .. the numbers are rising but thankfully not exponentially so far .. people are mostly abiding with self-quarantine and almost everything is closed .. Grocery stores put plastic gloves and hand sanitizers for people entering them .. no panic buying but rice , fruits and veggie prices are doubled / tripled .. surgical masks , gloves , and cleaning products too .. people have no money to hoard items anyway ... especially that we have a massive economic crisis since last September .. protests were still going on until the first case of Covid-19 was confirmed .. so now the government is happy and relieved ... the banks are closed , happy and relieved as well ... Praying this will be over soon Stay safe , world
