Awesome_Paul Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I saw this on afew forums, and I thought it be really fun. So i thought try it out here. The rules: Make a good sentence (or more sentences), which consist in total of at least 10 words. The only difficult in here is that you aren’t allowed to use one specific letter. Not in any word of the sentence(s)! The first forbidden letter will be A, followed by B, then C, D etcetera and after the Z we begin with A again. Numbers are not allowed! With the exception of written numbers of course e.g. one, two , three, etc. NOTE: If you do include the forbidden letter, the next person must start off with the same letter rather than the next. I'll begin A: I'll begin with this letter, This is quite difficult due to this letter is in millions of words :P Though lucky for the next user, They will forbid B which is more simplier
Ruto Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Ooh, this seems fun! B: I should receive my order of one thousand cheese pieces really soon.
Awesome_Paul Posted November 18, 2007 Author Posted November 18, 2007 C: pokes everyone in this board, This is definitely Fun. wonder how long it will go on for. Also This letter is really easy.
Superfly Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 D: I am typing really slowly and currently programming the news program.
Meeptroid Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 E: How am I going to construct a string of words without using a symbol of a kind?
neon_halo Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 F: This one is particularly easy because it's not like I'm programming with variables or anything.
Shattered_Ribbon Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 G. Yay, this letter is one of the more easier ones. Time runs slowly..
Xepha Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 H. I will not use it because it is a pointless letter.
Captain Awesome Pants Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I: Oh my dear, how shall one not use the letter above? (That was hard. Everything I wanted to sya had an I in it. This is a really good writing exercise by they by...)
antiaircraft Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 J: It is a pity that I did not get to test my genius on the letter E.
Xepha Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 K. I love this game because it is quite fun and easy.
Meeptroid Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 L: That's easy for you to say. I was stuck on 'E'. That racked my brain there...
The Big Cheese Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 M: I have decided to create a gallery with all the cheese stuff I recieved... so I now have a new quest, acheive the gallery spotlight! Oh, and not including the above letter in this sentence was quite easy. :)
Superfly Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 N. Do you think there is a way that I could possibly write something that has 10 or more words - without using the letter above.?
The Original Luna Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 O. I think a while. Perchance I have finished my quip.
Shattered_Ribbon Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 P. Vira's so lucky, vowels were not forbidden in this easy sentence.
Meeptroid Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Q: I could write for days and not come across a word with the certain letter above. Not a very common letter, are we now? That's okay. I'll just ramble on about stuff. So, today I woke up and got dressed. I then went to school. I am now writing these unnessasary sentences for no particular reason other than show off how easy not writing this certain letter is. Boy, I have some issue...
antiaircraft Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 R. Well this one is quite tough, but I'd like to get a shot at E, which happens to be the most commonly used vowel in the English language.
neon_halo Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 S: I thought I'd be fine with the above letter if I avoided the pural of any word. But many a word doth flaunt the above letter. Note that I am forced to write "doth".
antiaircraft Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 T: Headaches are so annoying, and make focusing on my work nearly impossible.
DOOM Bringer Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 U: Not too hard to avoid, its somewhat of an easy letter to not write in a sentence if one thinks of the right words to have in the aforementioned sentence. Splendid! :P
Myriad Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 V: I went to the park this morning. We saw a butterfly and a few stray dogs. *cough*
Shattered_Ribbon Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 W: I decided to go out this morning for a light stroll, but I found it too cold for my liking.
Meeptroid Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 X: Rather strange, don't you think? I'm stuck with the letter 'E', which was difficult, and now I have pretty darn easy ones. :P
antiaircraft Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Y: It must have something to do with karma Metroid - or something like that.
