The Xweetok granny is knitting *sideways* according to the way the stitches are drawn.

Just had to get that off my neurotic chest . . .

I definitely saw that! Looked more like she was trying to needle felt the poor thing...

i don't know the first thing about knitting and i noticed something was wrong ...

also .. she's not even a Granny .. she's a Xwee in a wig

I definitely noticed haha. Funny thing is, it's obvious she's supposed to be knitting the "Patch of Knitting" item which DOES look mostly proper.

 

I also hate the way she's holding the needles and whenever knitting is shown that way in media (how is she expecting to NOT drop stitches holding them that way???).

I hadn't read the specifics but I skimmed that the knitting was depicted incorrectly so when I finally watched the animation I just laughed because I didn't think it could be that terrible but omg the sideways is just killing me in a good way.
