I'd never thought about it that way; I tend to vote for all the ones I like, whether it's only one, or almost all of them. (But there are usually so many awesome ones that I've never picked just one. I'd never thought about it that way; I tend to vote for all the ones I like, whether it's only one, or almost all of them. (But there are usually so many awesome ones that I've never picked just one. I wouldn't know which one - it's way too difficult to choose!) It's a contest. If I just wanted to participate in the non-competitive side of it, I'd do (and have done) a backstage entry. I know it's a contest, but there are always several entries that I could never choose between, because they tend to be very different, yet equally creative/beautiful/funny/etc.I find it hard to compare them and pick just one of those. I could never vote for all the entries (because then I might as well vote for none of them for all the difference it makes), but since there are always so many to choose from, I want to give my vote to all that I feel should be contenders for the top 3. (I don't actually think that makes it less competitive. I'm still only voting for my favourites (if I'd ever be able to choose just one, I probably would, but I honestly have never seen a round where there was one entry (or even 2 or 3 entries) I preferred over all others), and it's all simply about who's gotten the most votes in the end, so as long as we all just vote for our favourites (whether that be one entry, or ten), it doesn't diminish the competitive aspect at all. Now I'm actually kinda curious what the results would look like if we'd all only pick one entry. Would one person win a landslide victory?
