Does Snotbunny give the Snowbunny avatar?

Just restocked one yesterday and someone interested in buying wants to know.  I thought it did, but not sure.  I don't want to sell it with false information :)

I saw your post on the "Avatars/NeoSignatures" Neoboard. The answers on there point to "no". I do believe the "Gruslen" avatar works with any Gruslen, but maybe not in the Snowbunny case. I was going to mention to post on that board, but I figured I'd check there first, and you already had. Hoping someone else will post if they have more information.

From what I can gather, it is not a snot painted snowbunny, but a totally different petpet, so it doesn't work for the avatar.  Had someone interested in buying if it did.

I always thought different painted snowbunny's could get the avatar. Hmmmm, maybe that's not the case?

Snotbunnies don't work.  However, painted ones do; I used a custard snowbunny to get the avatar.

You are correct; however in this case, a snotbunny is technically a different petpet/species than a snowbunny so it won't work.
