I've been going through a lot this year, but Neopets has really helped me out, so I wanted to get to know more of the Neopets community. We're a fun group of diversified players and for a nOOb like me, the information is overwhelmingly helpful! So I am sure you will find lots of friends here and just message or post if you need anything. Do you watch cooking shows with your interest in baking or you are more hands-on? I watch a lot of Master Chef, Chopped, and Cutthroat Kitchen with my older sisters. In fact, we "rabbit" some of these shows with my 2 sisters -1 in DC and the other in Chicago. We go crazy when it's the kids (jr. shows) bc we hate to see those babies cry. Anyway, we are voting on Customization contestants, so check out deborati's threads about using Dress To Impress, bc I think you would be good at that here. I hope you have fun getting around the place and meeting people and finding out things and getting involved. It's a lot of fun. I'm sorry to hear you've been going through a lot this year, but I saw your post in the 'What are you reading now' thread and it sounds like you're making some positive steps to help you to cope. Everyone faces different challenges, but we all face challenges at some point. You will get there! People here do chat about stuff they're going through sometimes and there's generally someone who has faced something similar or has some good words of advice or even just some good old fashioned encouragement.
