taylaca Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 According to wikipedia, "an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the United States are affected by a fear of this day, making it the most feared day and date in history. Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they avoid their normal routines in doing business, taking flights or even getting out of bed. It's been estimated that [uS]$800 or $900 million is lost in business on this day." I didn't notice until someone pointed out the date at lunch today. People who are worried about this kind of thing must pay more attention to calendars than I do. Congratulations to everyone for surviving :) life_eclectic 1 Quote
Aquamentis12 Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Friday the 13th bad luck? Nah, usually it's one of my luckier days. LOL (Which still isn't saying much though. lol) Amazing that so many people are afraid of it. flpatsfan 1 Quote
Panthersclaw Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 My little sister was born on friday the 13th. She was born on Friday June 13th in 1997 which I think is pretty lucky since I love my little sister. life_eclectic, Aquamentis12 and spookydana 3 Quote
spookydana Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 My husband and I consider it our "date night" since we like it so much! I even left him a love note wishing him a happy Friday the 13th! Aquamentis12 and acmerasta 2 Quote
