'Like' Button Question

Hey there!

 

Hopefully this will be a quick and easy question. :D

 

How many daily 'Likes' do we get to dole out?

 

I just 'Liked' 3 replies this morning, and when I went to mark a 4th I was told I had reached my Daily Limit.

 

So, what is the Daily Limit? Does it increase with account age or with some other account level/marker?

I don't know an exact base number (one of the mods probably does) but I believe it's dependent on how long you've been on the forums, your number of posts, and other such factors.

 

Perhaps someone more informed can be of more help...

I had to dig this up but here's the "like" limits for you:

Member: 5
Super Member: 10
Fantastic Member: 15
Staff (full): 20
Staff (trial): 15

Now I'm not sure why it is locking you out at 3, we'll ask an admin to look at it and see if it got wonky and changed without our knowledge :)

It's possible it's a 24 hours cap, rather than a day change cap.

 

I tried to look but I can't really find any info about it.

I had no idea there was different cap for different types :) I have never got to my cap, but I guess that is because I do not 'like' every post I see, which I could do HAHA! since I do like a lot of them. I guess I am stingy that way! HAHA!

Yes, if it is a 24 hour cap, then the 3 would make sense since (homophones!) I was 'Liking' replies yesterday.

There was another BB board that I was on (Neopian) that limited likes by rank, but members only got three. :P

 

Glad to know I get ten now...now I don't have to worry about capping out. (I doubt. ;) )
