I have refreshed countless times at the Virtupets Space Station to no avail. It might take a long time, also, make sure you didn't miss the event, check your challenger page in the battledome. And now for the bad news: Defenders of Neopia isn't working yet. So you can fight him, defeat him, but you will not get a DoN trophy or avatar for it. Only the daily battledome prizes we now get.
