Welcome Back Apathy
Yes, ladies and gents, it is that time of year once again--National Novel Writing Month! Or, as I like to call it, National Month of Setting Unrealistic Terrifying Goals. (NaMoSeUnTeGo has a ring to it.) Who's participating? How was your first day? My first day was ever so productive--too bad very little of the productivity was used on writing. I wrote about 500 words (I handwrite because it helps me keep going, so it's just an estimation), but I also cleaned my apartment and did some stuff with my author facebook page. I made it a few months ago just for motivation's sake, but I only started advertising it yesterday.
Nimphal
Oh no, I am not doing it :D I participated two years ago (time flies) and gave up half-way through November (was on schedule, 25000 words written). It will be a while before I put myself through that again :D
Naamah D.
I was going to participate, but when I come up with ideas to write, I think of my storyline in images and not words. I just decided to turn my novel into a script for a TV show :p
Ruto
I'm (slightly) late in responding to this topic, but I participated for my 4th year and finally won for the first time! :D Ended up with 50,159 words and I have not touched the story since reaching that point.
