I thought I'd start this thread so people could check out some of the sites if they are bored or whatever. I know I'd love some new sites to browse around on.. Right now some of my favorites are: http://www.postsecret.com/ - This site is a collection of quotes (sometimes funny, sometimes serious) that are made into a postcard. They update every Sunday. http://www.cracked.com/ - Hilarious website with lots of interesting articles. Theres a topic for everything. Some things are r-rated, so procede at your own risk. (no naked pics or anything like that!) http://www.pinterest.com/ - I'm sure most of you have heard of this one, but it is really great! I love finding awesome new recipes, interesting pictures, do it yourself projects, etc. What about you guys? There's another one I'd like to add called "F" my life. I don't know if I'm allowed to link to it because of the title but it is fmylife.com (the cuss word isn't actually used) @staff, please remove if that's inappropriate. And anyoneforrhubarb - a webcomic, also not sure if I can link to that. Minor occurrences of mature language. Other than that, I like to read what people have been posting to their Tumblr. Another one I use a lot is Pinterest, and mainly because I *love* to cook and there are a ton of good recipes pinned. I also enjoy reading some blogs- Shakesville, Captain Awkward, Vanilla Garlic, and Orangette are my favourites, though I have lots more that I read less regularily. The forum on there is great too. I've been registered on the website for over a year now. http://www.goodreads.com - I've been on Goodreads since 2009. Before finding it, I tried websites that were similar, but I think Goodreads is the best website for book lovers. http://www.getglue.com - I've been on there for over a year and it's a website where you can collect stickers for checking into tv shows, movies, books, etc. Then, once a month you can get real life versions of the stickers you collected mailed to you. http://www.twitter.com - Twitter is pretty fun. Really? I signed up on that site a couple months ago and never knew that the stickers were more than just something virtual... It's not a bad site, but they haven't worked out some things --- examples: sometimes there are two of the same movie listed, and videogames don't have their own separate classification (at least last time I used the site). Another small thing is that sometimes people write spoilers on some of the movie pages --- not really the site's fault, though. My favorites: -camelcamelcamel / camelegg: They track prices of things on Amazon / NewEgg, this way when you buy something you are aware if it's been cheaper in the past. -Fatwallet or SlickDeals: for finding good deals on things -computer forums like anandtech, hardforum, and overclock to learn about computer hardware. You can pick a category and there are awhole lot of them! So something for everyone. If you like what you see you click "like" or "dont like" or you don't have to click anything at all. If you click like, it helps them to find more relevant sites like that that they think you may like. I've found all sorts of interesting stuff on there!
