Ok, I'm stuck on number 2, 18, and 16... crud. Help? I know I'm really overthinking number 18. Stupid brain.

For 18, does the background remind you of anything?

Can't help on 2 or 16, since I'm stuck on those too. :(

I've read the hints for 16 so many times and stared at the tabs I have open with each of the items. But nothing ever seems to click.

Same here. And for 18, I know what the background is from, but I'm stumped. I think my mind is overwhelmed by the seemingly random words that aren't so random, which is probably a bad thing.

Don't overthink the words themselves. Think about what can be achieved from where the background is from.

(I'm so bad at giving hints. :()

I went through over 4000 items to find the answer for #2 and didn't find it :sad02:

 

Can someone confirm that I was searching correctly?

-item description is 11 words long

-item is 2 words long

-description ends in a !

-first word in description is 4 letters long

 

 

Also... I feel silly for not being able to figure out #19 since everyone keeps saying it's so easy!

 

Edit: Still can't figure out 19! Does anyone have a hint? Or is it sooo easy that a hint can't even really be given without giving away the answer...? Lol.

I have 19 done, now back to 2, 16 and 18. (Though I am currently working on 2.)

 

Edit: Number 2 bites the dust! Yippy! :dance: Now back to 16 and 18...

#19 is a very simple math problem.

 

Don't be doing what I did and waste time finding out the names of the flowers...

I figured out #19 :) It's very simple once you understand it lol.

And yes, I did search the names of the flowers earlier today... Haha. Waste of time. I was counting petals on each flower, number of letters in each flower name, and many complicated things :P

I've been busy all weekend, I'm so behind now! Silly real life, gettin' in the way of Neopets... pshh.

I got todays and yesterdays pretty fast, but I now have three to figure out. Here goes nothin'!

it's a fairly standard (although cleverly worded) puzzle of this type. There's no ambiguity about it, so even if you don't know much about neopets, you can work it out exactly.

Still just staring at it, reading it over and over. And nothing. So confused, really wish I had more than 1 guess left.

 

Got it! Hubby who has never even played neopets before looked at it, solved it but didn't want to give me the answer and then gave me clues to figure it out. :laughingsmiley:
