YYB: Old + New = TNT, I love you

The other thing, the one I care more about: Last year, it would shave off only a couple seconds from the time if you got a goal. With the animation you have to try to skip as fast as possible, it would *add* time to your game if you played.

 

This year, they are shaving eight seconds off the clock each time you get a goal, encouraging you to get as many goals as possible.

Wins! So they've corrected the main faults that made it unplayable last year - now that is VERY good news! I'll have to wander over to check it out!

I haven't tried it yet. I plan to soon though. Hopefully the changes will make it better for me but I'm not too hopeful. I'm just horrible at this game haha.

I noticed this when I checked out the Yooyuball instructions. I've been used to the keyboard controls, but TNT bringing back the mouse control is a very good thing for all the lefty players out there in Neopia. This is very good news if you ask me.

Thank you TNT! I just practiced 5 games of Yooyuball with the keyboard and my hands already hurt. It's a lot easier with the mouse for me. Now I can conserve my hands for the side games, If that makes any sense at all.

It's nice, although, the new AI really bores me, they always constantly steals the ball.

 

And I wonder why isn't there a restart button yet.

Though it would be nice to be able to see the whole field again. I find this still moves a little too fast compared to the old - but I suppose I can adapt. Already on my practice run I just scored 5 to 0 (using the mouse). Pretty much my average scoring on my first AC back in 2008, I'm sure I can climb back up to 15 to 0 again soon.

The only reason i still play with the key board = when you play with the mouse the shooting is really off.

The only thing I really don't like is the new ball stealing ability. Sure, it is helpful on YOUR side - but the AI keeps taking the ball from you and is faster. They didn't have this technique in the old version. Plus, scoring with the dreadful Darigan and Faeire balls was easier then - some of us were experts. Now - it's completely different.

I agree, the AI is very annoying, they always steal the ball, no, TNT, I don't want harder AIs!

i never played yyb before because of the mouse problem. I have a laptop and it was a nightmare. i used to just play the side game. this will be the first year i can actually play!! :D
