ok , I've been a loyal Shenkuu player for 3 years

 

however , this year i'm thinking a change of atmosphere would do me good (although i really really love Mirsha) .. unless Shenkuu recruited some awesome new player , that is

 

anyway , what would you say or do to convince me to join your team ?!!

 

and if you're a Shenkuu-nese .. what would you say to keep me on the team ?

(A tiiiiiny bit off topic, but I have missed every single Altador Cup. What's the dealio with picking a team? Do you get extra points for being on certain teams? Do you get a fantastic prize if you're on the winning team? I have no clue what goes on with it! :))

Well, I can't pass this opportunity up sooo why not join the awesome team that is MYSTERY ISLAND! :laughingsmiley:

Why You Should Join Mystery Island

  • We are a small team As such we are a lot closer than bigger teams but we have a problem with consistency since we can't always play all the games to achieve good results. If you can help us in this regard, we'll be very happy to have you but regardless you'll be welcomed into our family as long as you're not going to cause trouble.
  • We're a very social, group-oriented team. We love doing things together. A lonely MIYPit is a sad MIYPit. As such, we love doing group activities and games. Though our boards tend to be very slow off-season, once the AC is active and all the regulars are on, then it gets very active. We love to help and support one another and as long as you're not causing trouble, we'll be very happy to help and support you.
  • Above all, we love to have fun. Not good at some games? Just play the games that you like. Love to talk? Go ahead as long as it's not annoying anyone else. Too busy to play a lot? Play Shootout Showdown or take a break for the day but we still would love to hear from you. If we lose? Oh well but as long as we tried our best, it's ok. We're known to be the most relaxed and fun-loving team for a reason: It's a GAME. So as long as you're not trying to cause trouble or annoy anyone, then you'll feel to join us.

 

I personally love this team a whole lot because of the members on the board, MI is my favorite place in all of Neopia, and I want to help build up our reputation :P This is our year to show all the other teams we're going to get far and will love any help from potential players!

The only thing you really get for joining winning teams is a better looking trophy and feeling mega proud of your team.

 

Points only come from how much YOU contribute to your team.

 

So just play your heart out, help your team get up on ranks, and have fun while getting points to spend for awesome prizes in the end ^^

Ok, Mystery Island might be a great place to be, but let's face it, it's not exactly high ranked right now.

Instead, you may want to join Tyrannia!

 

We are, much like MI, a small team, but we're a very hard-working and dedicated group(the biggest reason for our success last year), and we're very relaxed (we'll let you play any game you want, whenever you want to and as much as you want). We're also very tight-knit: everybody on TY is friends, we never fight *cough*unlike TM*cough* and we all know our names, which isn't likely to happen on bigger teams. Also, despite being a very small team, we have a second board (DACTYL) which is dedicated to YYB only, and scores are mostly posted as they are made rather than by hoards (for us ACers that prefer talking to their friends as they play rather than doing it alone :) ).

Annnnnnnddddd, saving the best for last,

 

 

 

VP was sixth the year before winning, and we were sixth this year :P

Ah, fab, thank you! :) I wasn't sure if I should be terribly concerned with finding out which is the best team before joining one or not. :)

No problem! Try checking out the boards in the Virtupets section and see if you like the groups or not from your favorite lands! That's one of the reasons I joined Mystery Island :laughingsmiley:

 

I'm sure plenty of teams will be happy to have you or our Angelo here ;P

Oh and like mentioned above, Terror Mountain, Kreludor, and Tyrannia are hanging out around the "Other Worlds" board in-case you wanted to pay them a visit as well :)

 

*wonders which other teams will visit here to sway Angelo* :P

 

I think it'd be awesome if we held a vote and joined a team forum wide ^_^ we'd totally kick the other teams out of the water!

 

That would be an awesome idea that would really help out a team...but I know plenty of members on here are devoted to their specific team so it'll be hard to sway them to join another xD

Well, I can't convince you to join Faerieland, as you really need to go with what your heart desires ^_^ I've been invited to the Faerieland Team guild when the Cup opens, and Faerieland fans seem to be some of the sweetest, nicest people! I'll be cheering on Faerieland for my first FULL Altador cup!

Why not try Team Faerieland? We've been improving since ACV and hope to climb up higher next year. Like what flyingeevee said, small teams has a tighter knit. It is true that Team Faerieland probably has lots of players but most of them doesn't come up to the neoboard.

 

Also, if you like to socialise, we are fairly active even during the offseason (this year's at least) with 2-3 boards per week on average since September. A number of us became close friends throughout the year as we come up to the boards fairly often... as often as everyday.

 

If you like to work hard and see your efforts blooming into flowers, Faerieland is also a good place to go. We do not have enough good players in the past and when a nice hardworking player pops in, you make the team feel good and yourself too!

 

If you'd like, come and drop by the FLUFF board. We are fairly active especially now since the AC hibernate is nearing its end. Good luck in searching for a good team :)

 

And by the way, to the two Faerielanders I see here, come up to the FLUFF board! We'd love to have you join us :)

Well my good sir, before I try to ocnvince you I need to know what kind of player my team will be recieving... Are you gonna play like you did in AC6, or are we getting the player you were in AC5, maybe even an improvement on that?

This year I'll play harder than last year , but I seriously hope they fix YYB !!!

I see, then DC welcomes you to join us. We love fresh talent, although we're pretty strict in only wanting determined players.

During the AC, we're about 80% business. Matches and winning are very important to us. Overall when its going we're a determined and little nonsense group.

We also have fun though. We have our clowns that goof off all year and make everyone else laugh. And during the offseason we're an incredibly lighthearted and funny board. You get the best of both worlds.

We'd love for you to drop by the DC Minions board sometime. ^^
