The Original Luna
I reckon Milk doesn't agree with my stomach.
Strategos
Too bad. What about soy milk? Is that better? Here is my Lactose Intolerence Test. 1. Does milk agree with you? If yes, go to number 5, if no, continue. 2. Does cheese agree with you? If yes, go to number 5, if no, continue. 3. Can you drink soy milk? If yes, go to number 4, if no, go to number 5. 4. You are lactose intolernt. 5. You are not lactose intorlent. It works 99.99% of the time. * *Results may vary.
Samuel
I'm not a milk fan...except in coffee, and with cereals (which overpower the milk flavour) XD
antiaircraft
I like milk, but I like plain water best of all drinks.
smumpkins
Milk is only good for cooking with, chocolate milk and cereal. Other than that, milk and soda stomp milk into the ground. ^_^
antiaircraft
Uh, not to sound stupid or anything, but what exactly is soda?
smumpkins
Soda, pop, coke, cola, etc. Definition - a beverage consisting of soda water, flavoring, and a sweet syrup Example - Coca Cola, Sprite, Mountain Dew, etc.
antiaircraft
Oh, now I see. So a soda is basically a fizzy drink?
Xepha
I'm not fan of milk. Don't like the taste... XD *water is the best* *nods* Nice definition of Soda Smumpkins XD
smumpkins
@AA: Yes, soda is fizzy/bubbly, and tends to have caffeine in it. Have your parents been hiding soda from you? o_O
antiaircraft
Nope, it's just that here we call them fizzy drinks or soft drinks. And they're expensive, so mostly we drink water.
Midtime
Really? I thought it was just because our parents think they're unhealthy. (the drinks, not the parents)
antiaircraft
That too. But mainly around here it's the cost. My school's canteen, like, doubled the prices over the holidays.
Lutarist Jake
My school canteen has a lot of soda drinks. They all cost around 90 cents. ( Singapore Dollar )
smumpkins
Dang. I refuse to spend a lot of money on soda. I just drink bottled water, for the most part. ^_^
antiaircraft
I drink filtered tap water, and occasionally fruit juice when my mum wants me to (and just a few months ago she was trying to get me to drink more plain water o_O )
smumpkins
She probably wanted to either A) get you to stop using the filter so much, or b) get you to have more iron in your diet.
antiaircraft
Probably both. Hey, you found the combo for the b) smiley.
smumpkins
Cool. I guess I'll start using that smiley, as well. I've been limited to a select few, since I try to use only the ones that I know.
antiaircraft
Same here - I find the smileys window annoying. It's too long and narrow.
The Original Luna
Most pop-ups annoy my computer- but the pop boxes on TDN always give 'This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this site, click here to allow scripted windows.' But that happens every time- not just once per day.
smumpkins
Just what kind of computer are you using, Luna? Windows 98? If so, take it out back and give it a proper burial. >_<;;
Izzy ♥
I get that with IE7 whenever I use it... there's meant to be a way to stop it (something to do with the settings) but I gave up and converted to FF ;)
Awesome_Paul
Had a close call with my PC yesterday, Somehow, my pc was infected with a Virus (forgot what it was called) It was disabling my Virus scan and everything. But luckily, I did an System restore and that fixed it :D
smumpkins
I guess that you're lucky that the virus didn't infect your BIOS. That would've spelled the end of your PC.
