Spritzie Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 It's really not, though where in Colorado depends. In Denver, the snow tends to be worse. In Pueblo, it's generally hotter and not a long of snow. The eastern part of the state generally gets the tornadoes. Where I live, we get pretty much everything. We can get the bad snow storms, the 100+ degree days in the summer, tornadoes, the severe thunderstorms, all the fun stuff. <_< Quote
rachiee Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 New York is one of those states where we get freezing temperatures, ice storms and blizzards in the winter and nasty heatwaves in the summer but spring and fall are relatively normal. At least that's how it is where I live. Quote
The Meepit Commando Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 A common saying in MI is: "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes." I think that speaks for itself. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 We have that saying here too. I almost feel bad for anyone trying to forecast the weather... though I guess no one would be surprised if they were wrong. Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 My area doesn't snow. End of story. I would have never seen snow, if not for Korea last year. :sad01_anim: Quote
Spritzie Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'm more than willing to send you my snow. :D And you can keep it forever if you'd like. Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Yes, please! I will store it in my backyard! :D Ahaha, JOKE, we don't even have backyards :/ Quote
Ruka Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Ahaha, JOKE, we don't even have backyards :/ I do have to agree; since we live in the same country! :P Land-scarce Singapore! :P Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 We get a fair amount of snow in IL, but not in the southern part where I am at the moment. For some reason we tend to get a lot of freezing rain . . . which stinks when you're driving down back country roads a lot Quote
Spritzie Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'll give you as much snow as you want. :D I really, really don't want it. I hate being cold and I hate driving in it even more. Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I rather be cold then hot :/ At least you don't perspire like a dog! But to be fair, once we're talking driving, it's a whole different matter. Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Heh, I feel your pain, Spirtzie. I used to drive in the snow until I moved & I can't stand it. I like looking at the snow, but staying inside & being warm! Quote
Spritzie Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'm weird, but I'd rather be hot than cold. I'm miserable when cold. I'm not looking forward to this winter. This will be my first winter in 4 years that I won't be driving an SUV. Quote
Rebeka Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'd rather be .. hot. I don't seat a bit, so that's not a problem :) But I L.O.V.E snow! (yes, that much) Omg. I just a found a picture of me that's 3 years old and I think I'm going to die laughing haha! It's hillarious.. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I think snow is great, but with work, I'll always have to go out in it, so I'd rather just not have it. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I like snow, but not if I have to walk through it. And this year, I'll likely have to walk to school, unlike previous years. :( Quote
rachiee Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I like snow, but not if I have to walk through it. Same. Which is why if there is a lot of snow (or ice) on the ground I'll have my mom drive me to and from school. Quote
The Meepit Commando Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I don't drive, but I don't like snow because I get sick easily, and the winter does just that. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 We're into spring right now, but it's been raining and cold :( Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I really hope the snow holds off until fall semester is over because I do not want to rush across campus in the cold and snow . . . or worse, cold, ice, and snow Quote
Mr. X Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I love how my father seems to think Family Guy makes fun of religious people and certain races only. He's wrong on so many levels that I'm only going to leave this video instead of wasting my time coming up with my own reply they make fun of everyone and that's why I like to watch it every now and then. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I like snow. I don't watch Family Guy. We had snow for the first time in 50 years here in June. Wish we had more snow though. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I think I'll send snow to everyone on TDN this year. Then maybe I won't have to see it again for a few years. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Do I get some?! :D *gratefully accepts snow* It's fall over there in USA isn't it? Quote
Spritzie Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Of course you can have some. :D As much as you want. Yes it is. Supposedly it is in Colorado as well. But we already got our first snow a few days ago. And the cars are all frosty in the mornings. Quote
