Anisha Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Lets see. I loved 7th grade, 9th and 10th was TOTALLY awesome. :D I was never a fan of 11th, and 12th is going pretty fine so far. Just the studies have doubled. Quote
-Ryan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 8th grade and 9th grade so far have been pretty great years for me. 6th was pretty awesome too. Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Ryan- Have you read any of the Redwall books yet? I haven't, but as I understand they involve rodents, I would think that they would fit into the category of something you would enjoy (as squirrels are rodents and such) Quote
-Ryan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Yup, like 13 of them. xD Just finishing up Marlfox currently. I also read The Mismantle Chronicles. :3 Quote
rachiee Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 And I hate weekends too, but only cause i'm usually too lazy to try to see my friends over the weekend. :P Same. :| I always want to see my friends over the weekend, but I most of the time, I don't really want to invite them to my place because it's boring. Usually people end up inviting themselves to my place instead of me inviting them. I don't get it. :P Quote
Spritzie Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 When I was in school, I generally did more stuff with my family, rather than my friends from school. All except one friend in middle school and HS that I grew up with. Quote
Sweetdang Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I love school! It's where my friends and favourite language is. :) Quote
Ruka Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I agree with you Sweetdang! The awesome friends you can meet, the teachers with quirky personalities, and the things you do in school! Excluding homework and exams, I love school: it's like part of my life! :D Quote
rachiee Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 The only reason why I like school is because of my friends. Like most people, I hate homework, exams and waking up early...especially waking up early. x_x I usually leave the house by 7 and wake up at 6:45, which is still way too early even though it's kind of a late time for me to wake up on a school morning. Quote
Ruka Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I have to wake up at around 5:30, and leave the house around 6:30. School starts at 7:30. So I'm used to waking up very early. P.S On the plus side, school ends around 1 (without any activities)! ^_^ Quote
khaos Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Oh yeah, now we're on the topic of school, how was middle school like for you? Mainly 6th grade. I just went to a friends house. It was fun-ish. :D Quote
Ruka Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Who you are referring to Khaos? P.S My country has a different system then yours, so I'm wouldn't know the difference between them. Quote
Elorei Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hi Ain! *waves* How is everyone? :) Uh oh :/ School topic. I was homeschooled, and didn't go to college. XD Soooo I'm at a loss here. :P Quote
Anisha Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Uh oh :/ School topic. I was homeschooled, and didn't go to college. XD Soooo I'm at a loss here. :P There is a girl who lives next door to me. She is home schooled too, and she loves it. :) I always wanted to give it a try! Quote
rachiee Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I've never been homeschooled nor do I know anyone who's homeschooled (in real life). To be honest, I don't want to be homeschooled, nor do I want to stay in the public school system. So basically I'm saying I want to go to private school. :P (I could go on and on about how bad my state's public school system is, but I won't.) Quote
Ruka Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hi Ain! *waves* Hi there Elorei (again)! :D There is a girl who lives next door to me. She is home schooled too, and she loves it. :) I always wanted to give it a try! Home school seems like a neat idea, but I think I would rather have the normal school! :D Quote
Anisha Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I could meet my friends everyday, without going to school. :laughingsmiley: So yeah, school is not like 'where-I-meet-my-friends'. School gets boring eventually. Very boring. Quote
khaos Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 @Ain: When I said that, I was reffering to anyone who would answer. I know someone who was homeschooled for 2 years and then came back. They got "distracted" in school, so that's why they were homeschooled. I go to a private school, myself. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Never been interested in home-schooling, never will be. @_@ Quote
Ruka Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I could meet my friends everyday, without going to school. :laughingsmiley: So yeah, school is not like 'where-I-meet-my-friends'. School gets boring eventually. Very boring. Anything can happen when I'm at school. It makes school exciting, dreadful and all that. ^_^ I met most of my friends from school; it's quite rare for me making friends outside of school. So... school is still the best (for me)! ^_^ Quote
rachiee Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Aside from internet friends, I don't have any friends outside of school. :[ I did get the numbers of some people I met at camp last summer, but I don't ever talk to them anymore so...idk we're technically not friends. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I guess I'm kinda the same as @pyrope. I do have friends who used to go to school with me but now we're at different schools... so yeah :D Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I hate you for that image.... Hi Elorei! I havent said hi. Why is that. Hmm... *goes off to say hi* Quote
-Ryan Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Trolololol. Wheee back from chess tournament like the nerd I am. I had a big upset win. b) Quote
khaos Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Congrats! ... I WAS IN AV CLUB AND GLEE CLUB AND EVEN THE CHESS TEAM ...I couldn't resist. White 'n' nerdy FTW. xD Quote
