rachiee Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Woot, it's been decided! :D I'm making deliciously delicious brownies! :O Yaaay! c: I made brownies a few hours ago. I think they're almost gone though...I don't want any more, so...*tosses brownies to whoever wants some* I'm against making brownies or cake from a mix. I'm one of those people who feels that there is less thought and effort (as well as less love) put into desserts made from a mix. Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 *grabs one of the brownies that Rach. tossed* Yum! You guys are making me really want to bake now. I'm going to have to go get some stuff to make brownies when I go grocery shopping tomorrow! Or raid my cabinet & see if I can make them now If I do, I'll let you all know how they turn out EDIT: Nothing at home for brownie-making so I'll have to get stuff tomorrow Quote
IrishLiz Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Coke! haha, I try to ignore all the clubs and groups (religious and otherwise) that want something from you on campus. They can get kind of annoying. haha, I kept telling one guy that I agreed with him, and I think he's had so many people disagree with him that he kept arguing with me. It was kind of funny, actually. One group I do like is the Gideons, because they just stand there and pass out Bibles. You can take them or not take them and they don't say anything to you unless you start a conversation with them. I like it because it's simple and doesn't involve yelling at people. Summers and breaks are nice - no undergrads, and no people handing out flyers/trying to talk to you. (No offense to undergrads - it's just nicer when there are less people on campus). Can I have brownies too? Quote
-Ryan Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Would you all beleive that i'm christain and don't rule some sort of creepy squirrel cult? :P Btw, that lizard is adorable. ^_^ /Was obsessed with lizards for a while before I discovered how amazing squirrels are. Edit - GUYS! IM SILENCED ON TWO ACOUNTS RIGHT NOW! Im so proud. xP One is for 3 days, the other is 1 day. :P Quote
:)Doc Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Ryan, how do you get silenced? I've never even heard of such a thing! :P Quote
IrishLiz Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Yeah... what did you do Ryan? And yes, lizards are cool. hm... there are these animals called agoutis here than kinda look like squirrels when they're eating (rather large squirrels). Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Squirrels are the bomb Ive never heard of that either, how does one get themselves silenced? Quote
Manta Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 You get silenced when TNT decides they don't like the way you talk :laughingsmiley: *goes back to sleep* Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 okkaayyy (Thanks Manta!) What did you say haha?? Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Just so it's said, you guys are making me hungry with this brownie talk. :( I just got to work, and now I want brownies. Spritizie, you have always been one of my favorite persons on the forums & now that's super-confirmed because I love Dr. Pepper!!! Awww! Thanks. :D Dr. Pepper is amazing. It's definitely my favorite, and pretty much the only soda I drink. Edit - GUYS! IM SILENCED ON TWO ACOUNTS RIGHT NOW! Im so proud. xP One is for 3 days, the other is 1 day. :P Ryan, why are you having so much fun with this? Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 mmmm Dr. Pepper is the bessttt trust me, Im a doctor Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I've never really drank anything else, except Mountain Dew once in awhile. (Though there was a period where I could only drink it from the fountain because the bottled/canned was too strong for me.) Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 (Though there was a period where I could only drink it from the fountain because the bottled/canned was too strong for me.) What fountain? you mean like at fast food/movies where it's syrup mixed with water but it's mostly water? I like the ones where you get to serve yourself, so I get to decide my own syrup to water ratio :P Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Most places just call them the fountain drinks. I've never seen the ones where you can mix them yourself. Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 well you don't mix them you just pour them. and you can see the cut offs between the syrup and the water, so if you just hit the button and pulse, you can skip the water part or skip the syrup part whatever you prefer. It's like that at some mcdonalds around here, and I think every harveys ! Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Interesting. I've never seen that before. I know they aren't like that at the McDonalds I've been to here, and we don't have any Harveys here. Where are you from? Quote
Manta Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I can't go back to sleep :sad02: this is awful...Alright, guys, new plan! Tonight I am going to sleep at 11, so when I wake up at 9, I will be well-rested! Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Awww. :( I'm sorry. I'm less tired than normal today. I couldn't get my husband to wake up when I got home last night (He was up all of the night before) so I just went to bed around 8:30. Quote
Manta Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 8:30?? :ohno: i'm so jelly :eh: i don't know what's wrong, i've never ever had sleep issues before, and now i just can't stay asleep past 9am. i'm so tired right now, but i can't even go back to sleep :sad02: *continues to putter around on neopets, and passes out cake* Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 aww Get well soon Manta! Im less tired than normal too, I was supposed to have a work meeting but I slept in and woke up to my mom shoving the phone in my face with my supervisor on the line..quite upset.. so needless to say I could not get back to sleep Im from Toronto! We don't have very many Harveys (and fewer by the day) but it's one of my favorite places! Quote
Spritzie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I'm so used to getting up early now (not to mention the mass of birds outside that get obnoxious starting at 4am) that I rarely sleep past 8 or 9 on my days off. Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 and Im so used to not getting up early! I haven't needed to in forever. I never really trained myself to do it like most people have! Quote
rachiee Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I'm used to staying up relatively late (on weekends + days I don't have school) and still managing to get a good night's sleep. For example, I stayed up until midnight last night and woke up around 8:15. If it's a school day, I usually stay up until 11 and get up at 6:40, so I don't get as much sleep when I need it. :/ Quote
MELioristic Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 640?? My body would never allow that! I would have to force myself and knowing me, I still probably wouldn't. I need practice. My mom wakes up with the sun every single day. I have no idea why/how! Quote
rachiee Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 The only reason why I'd get up that early is for school. But since it's summer break as of now, I really have no reason to get up that early ^_^ Plus, 6:40 is considered relatively late (for getting up for school) by my standards. Quote
