:)Doc Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I liked the 7th book. Although I got it and didnt start it for a full year <_< Quote
Divya Bean Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I read the 1st and 2nd book and then skipped to the 7th because I wanted to see what would happen. :P Quote
:)Doc Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I read them all <_< I liked them all but 5 really. Quote

jumpingbeans Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I read the 1st and 2nd book and then skipped to the 7th because I wanted to see what would happen. :P I read them all in order, and now I'm re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-reading them all. (Give or take a few 'Re's) Quote
Divya Bean Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I actually didnt really like the Harry Potter books. I thought the movies were better because they were so well made with the magic and all. Quote

I liked the books better, mainly because they had so much more details, and the movies are leaving things out left, right and middle. Quote

Well, the movies dont really have too much of a choice. They will make a movie that sells, not a movie that follows the book exactly. I know that they did leave out important details, but the movies not only for people who have read the books, but also for people that havent. Quote

The Score in Blue Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Don't all movies leave out bits though? I want to see the HP movie but I'm not looking forward to missing some of the parts that were in the book. Quote
Unstream Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 The 7th movie was great. The best one in the series so far, in my opinion. Bean, I really recommend you read the rest of the books. It definitely puts more depth into the series, and the 7th is just great because it takes elements from all the other books. The movie actually stayed pretty consistent with the book. The only parts that I knew were omitted were Harry's interactions with Kreacher (and Kreacher and Harry becoming friends) and they didn't work the part in where Voldemort puts a Trace on his name. You too!? Ok, how many people saw this movie. I feel jealous that I gotta wait til next week. Those parts aren't THAT important, so it doesn't make that much of a difference. Quote

Unstream Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I actually liked the 3rd one a lot. The 5th was boring, and the 6th had a few tough parts to go through, but both were good. The movie for the 5th was definitely better than the book in my opinion. Quote
Divya Bean Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I got the 3rd book and am now procrastinating from reading it. :P Quote

Tyler. Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 *sigh* A conversation that I can't be a part of :( Quote
Spritzie Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 *sigh* A conversation that I can't be a part of :( That's why I haven't added much. I've never read HP books or seen the movies. I suppose we could always shift the conversation back to food... Quote
-Ryan Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I haz a problem. My computer won't load youtube, Neo, or Ikariam and I have to type, hit the post button, and then refresh for it to show up. Also, I have to go to my personal messanger now to get to PMs. I can't go there through notifications anymore. How do I fix that. Oh and, I only read the first 100 pages or so of the 5th book, then got bored cuz I already saw the movie. Quote
Spritzie Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Maybe your computer has decided it hates the internet. Is it possible that your notification settings are different? Quote
-Ryan Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 No, I haven't chnged my settings at all in weeks.

Hm, I just tried deleteing all my media and clearing out my recycle box thing. Lemme see how that works.
Edit: Nope. D: Quote
Spritzie Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Does anyone else use your computer that might have messed with some of the settings? Quote
-Ryan Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Nope, I keep my laptop in my room and no one else even touches it. Quote
