Unstream Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Yeah, it's William, but I've always like Will better. More concise. My parents were actually thinking about making my official name Chinese, but decided against it so I could be more integrated into this culture. Sounds like you're taking that in a bad way :P Honestly, I wouldn't be super excited to have that name, but I wouldn't hate it either. I wish I knew where the roots for it came from though. Quote
livvy Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I know you didn't mean it badly. But I honestly have no idea what the roots are. I think mum just felt creative when she was naming me. *shrugs* Fortunately, most people, like you, assume Olivia. ANYWAY. Enough confusing people. Anagrams. They're nifty. Quote
Wembly Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I just painted myself a mustache with coconut body butter, because then the smell is right under my nostrils. I lovee coconut. This mustache thing is becoming a regular bed time ritual, it's a good job I live alone. Haha, that is definitely more fun of a way to describe putting stuff under your nose. I may have to steal that description. I have stuff that helps me breathe and stuff that helps me sleep that I put on my upper lip sometimes but I never thought to describe it as drawing a mustache on :handlebars: Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Does adding a moustache make things that much more masculine? Quote
livvy Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 No, it just makes things that much more awesome. :bonjeur: Quote
Wembly Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I feel like that conversation sounded like a bad joke, but none the less, I couldn't agree more. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Wait, Livvy, your first name isn't Livvy?!? :O My whole world's been turned upside down. Speaking of anagrams... I'd totally forgotten about that! :laughingsmiley: Has anybody here got the Eliv Thade Avatar? It takes way too long to complete. and every time I see JB's signature it keeps reminding me of it... You're welcome. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Eh, coconut. I've never liked coconut. It's probably not the taste I dislike so much as the weird texture of everything coconut flavored. I don't know how I feel about the scent on its own. Another thing in common. I hate coconut. I don't like the flavor at all. (Though I sometimes think Wendy's frostys have a slight hint of a coconut flavor. Wii Mall. I like that :D I agree! That's awesome. Is there a name change in your future? :P Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Hey guys. Weather's birthday present for me was a sore throat and headaches. I had to stay home because it's so bad. Last night I was barely able to breath because of my throat. Quote
Athene Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 *hugs for Cav* You're the fourth person today who I've heard say they're getting sick :( Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Maybe there's something going around. My grandmother was also sick yesterday, people are sick now. Quote
antiaircraft Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 It's a TDN epidemic! Hang in there people, I'm scrambling our *Medical Corps.! * BlackJaguar and Isabel Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I hope it's not as bad as the Swine Flu. That scared me. Quote
antiaircraft Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Interestingly enough (while I haven't researched this myself), I've been told that Swine Flu was actually a fairly low risk disease when faced with modern medicine. It was, however, a very real threat in areas where people couldn't seek prompt and effective medical care. At any rate, I'm sure our resident medical students will be able to tell me more. Quote
Athene Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Swine flu and Avian flu were incredibly hyped up by the media, and promptly forgotten 2 months later. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 *Passes out kleenex and chicken soup to everyone that's sick* I managed to escape it by getting some sleep. Usually, if I feel like I'm getting sick, if I sleep enough, I don't catch it. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 *eats chicken noodle soup* Thanks Spritzie. Now I have muscle sorness. Dang. And I have nothing that I could treat this with. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 You don't have any Aleve? It's good with muscle pain/soreness. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Nope nothing. Besides, I need Hals more. I got to go to my grandmother's to get it. Quote

jumpingbeans Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Rejoice with me friends, for my comic is going to be in the Neopian Times! The trophy has already arrived! *dances wildly in thanks* Congrats! Tell us what it is, and we'll look for it when the NT Times comes out. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Congrats. I can't wait to see it. Can you give us a sneak peek? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 What's it about? A Werelupe who discovers his life's ambition is to open up a haberdashery? Quote
Wembly Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Haha, it's really not the exciting but its about the wheel of excitement not being 'exciting' because you get struck by lightning, but I'm glad it got in none the less. I think it's entitled "Wheel of...Excitement?..." or something like that. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Hmm. I should make a story for the Neopian Times one day. I can write rather well. Quote
