Spritzie Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 :laughingsmiley: Livvy... how did you manage to read that? And how long did it take you? Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 That chatspeak reminds me of a game i was playing... 'I dont even?' Still very funny. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I managed to read it. It took me 6 seconds to fully figure it out. I can read Chatspeak to an extent. I can also read LOL cats, but it just gets annoying. This is one of the reasons I don't bother with the Neoboards. TOO MUCH CHATSPEAK! Quote
Luciana Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 It's not too hard to read chatspeak when it comes to bad spelling. When it comes to replacing letters with numbers... then it takes awhile to get used to. Quote

Luciana Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 What's a LOL cat? The most pointless joke to have ever been invented. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 What's a LOL cat? Haha, good old chatspeak. JOO MAKE ME LAUGH. That is an example of LOL cats. It's an image of a cat, with chatspeak. It's terrible. Get's very annoying. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'm great at reading chat speak, though I hate writing it. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hmm... too many zs to count in that picture. Besides what's so LOL about cats? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 No, only 3. And I didn't know what you guys were talking about until I saw the picture. Quote
Unstream Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I'm not even sure that counts as chatspeak. I thought chatspeak only refers to acronyms and replacing letters with numbers. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Personally, I enjoy the well done, LOL cats. But that's because I love cats. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 u m3an l1k3 t415? I really hate Chat Speak, but oddly enough, I'm really fluent in it. Quote
Luciana Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Chatspeak is mainly abbreviations and slang. Typing for lazy people. (Or people who want to look cool and fun) Doesn't have to be just numbers. I hate lolcats. They are a disgrace to cats everywhere. Quote
Noog Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Any person that would go out of their way to add a z or completely mess up a word is obviously doing it on purpose, as where chatspeak is to make typing faster to type and read. Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I think cats are cute. It's also random how Apple named their OSX operating software after wild cat breeds. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I gotta go now, my mom's calling. Good night, everyone. Quote
Luciana Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Noog- "WHUT DO U WANNA DO LATERZ!!!!!-shift-1111wunlol!!" counts as chatspeak just as much as "wut do u want 2 do 2day" They are both stupid and you should assume anyone who types like that is a moron. Also, all chatspeak is done on purpose what??? Goodnight, JB. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I'm not even sure that counts as chatspeak. I thought chatspeak only refers to acronyms and replacing letters with numbers. Is that better for you? I hate lolcats. They are a disgrace to cats everywhere. Agreed. Any person that would go out of their way to add a z or completely mess up a word is obviously doing it on purpose, as where chatspeak is to make typing faster to type and read. Meh. Both are annoying. And chatspeak doesn't make it faster for me to type. It's faster for me to just type normal. Quote
Wembly Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I personally find www.averagecats.com more amusing than lolcats. Case and point Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 For those boys wanting a Add or Subtract award, I made it. Check it out. Quote
Athene Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I managed to read it. It took me 6 seconds to fully figure it out. I can read Chatspeak to an extent. I can also read LOL cats, but it just gets annoying. This is one of the reasons I don't bother with the Neoboards. TOO MUCH CHATSPEAK! I can read pretty much any chatspeak, sadly. Though there was one post on lamebook the other day that REALLY stumped me. Personally, I enjoy the well done, LOL cats. But that's because I love cats. I enjoy them too. This is one the others might appreciate though: Quote
Spritzie Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I enjoy them too. This is one the others might appreciate though: :laughingsmiley: That is one big cat! Even my sister's cat was never that big. Quote
Wembly Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 My friend had a cat that was probably around that big and my uncle had one around that big too that used to somehow still manage to jump up into the sink and since he was all black, it looked like there was a giant fur ball filling the sink, it was odd. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 An old neighbor of mine used to have these huge, long haired cats. They were huge. And when they wanted to be pet, they'd flatted themselves on the ground. They'd be like 2 inches off the ground, but like 2 feet wide. :laughingsmiley: Quote
