Revenge Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Hiiii. 8D I just woke right now and I feel AWESOME. And school doesn't start for me until September, and CAV's set reminds me too much of Levy to enjoy it. :/ Quote
Divya Bean Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Same here Hangman! Heh. I dont start until the...8th, is it? :P Ryan. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Procrastination comes under freedom of expression, so as citizens of the Internet we have a right to do so! :P I like this! So true! Psh, yeah! b) ...I wish. Unfortunately, school is gonna severely restrict my time here... but I'll try! Awww. We will miss you Livvy. I hope you're able to get one pretty often, even if it's only for a short time. Joking aside, I really like that set. At the very least it beats mine hands down. xD I like your signature thing, Theo. It's creative, but simple. You get to sit around doing nothing and I have 3 projects due tomorrow! :P Seriously? They are not giving you an easy time this early in the year, are they? Quote
Theresa2 Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 -Ryan iam sorry you dont get to sit around and have projects already that really stincks Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 CAV, I am going to eventually come to New York, find you, say hi, and then walk away without telling you that I am Ryan. :P Don't. Actually say that you are Ryan. Because if you don't, I'll think you're some weird guy and I'll Sweet Chin Music you. Quote
Noog Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Sweet Chin Music? *googles* Oh. A wrestling move. I feel sorry for anyone with a positive attitude that likes to say Hi to random people x_x Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Yes, feel sorry for them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH8X43jk_3Q I looked for this exact clip, because HBK > Cena. Undertaker > everyone. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I feel sorry for anyone with a positive attitude that likes to say Hi to random people x_x This happens to me all the time. I'll be sitting somewhere on the laptop, and people just walk by, say hi, how are you, and walk on. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Drunks, homeless people, and people on drugs do that here in NY. You have a few people who actually say that because they're friendly, but not much. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 It's not like that here. Usually homeless or whatever just look at you funny. It's only the bouncy, happy people that generally do it here. Or people with friends who put them up to doing stuff like that. Quote
livvy Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Awww. We will miss you Livvy. I hope you're able to get one pretty often, even if it's only for a short time. Thanks Spritz. I'll do my best to pop on when I can. :) I wouldn't attack you if you visited SC, Ryan. :P Quote
Unstream Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Hi Livvy! You need to stop being invisible so I can tell if you're online. And yeah, I don't think it's that hard to tell the hobos and drunks from the bubbly happy people. Bubbly happy people probably won't offer you a bag of candy a few seconds afterwards :P Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 And I shall have to catch you on MSN one of these days. Will you be on MSN, even if you aren't on here? Quote
Luciana Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 It's not like that here. Usually homeless or whatever just look at you funny. It's only the bouncy, happy people that generally do it here. Or people with friends who put them up to doing stuff like that. I am going to Colorado. >8( I want random bouncy people saying hello to me and then bounce away! Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I am going to Colorado. >8( I want random bouncy people saying hello to me and then bounce away! Really? What part? Denver is the best for that. Colorado Springs does pretty well with those people too. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 The homeless people here are either: 1. Always sleepy 2. Constantly begging for you to give them money, and refuse to believe you when you tell them that you have none, even if you're telling the truth. 3. Dead 4. On drugs 5. Happy and giddy 6. Depressed 7. War veterans Here's what you do when you are confronted by one: 1. Ignore them 2. Put on headphones and pretend you were listening to music 3. Tell the truth and say you don't have money 4. Lie and say you don't have money 5. Give them a bar of soap 6. Act rude (not the best option) 7. Give them money (best option) And that's CAV's Guide to the Homeless in NYC. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I don't remember much of NYC from when I went. But then again, I was 7, which was quite a few years ago. I just remember no one in the group wanted to ride the subway, and my mom's friend made everyone. She was crazy. :laughingsmiley: "Pffft, let's just walk to the UN building... it's only 20 blocks from here." Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Take the train next time. It's A LOT faster than walking. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 She wasn't that type. She was always the adventure type. We used to go camping with her, her husband, and their grandson all the time. She never wanted easy or fast. She wanted fun. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Luciana Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Really? What part? Denver is the best for that. Colorado Springs does pretty well with those people too. Woaah oops. I meant I want to go. :-( It looks like such a nice place to be -sigh- CAV- I must be lucky or something. I almost never see the homeless harassing people. A lot of the ones I've seen are really chill. Like, they just sit there doing nothing ever. It is kind of creepy. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I thought that might have been what you meant. Colorado is gorgeous. I've lived here my whole life. I love it. (Except I dislike the cold winters.) Quote
Luciana Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Sounds nice. I love winter hehe it wouldn't bother me at all. :> Next time my mom plans to take a trip somewhere I'm gonna ask her to go to Denver with me. :-D Quote
Spritzie Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I love Denver. I'm a city girl. I actually lived there for about 9 months. I loved it. I love going there, just for the shopping. Quote
Revenge Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 And yeah, I don't think it's that hard to tell the hobos and drunks from the bubbly happy people. Bubbly happy people probably won't offer you a bag of candy a few seconds afterwards :P Y'know, if they had a bag of candy, they probably would. Quote
Unstream Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I guess I forgot to mention the smiling creepily part and the suspicious before the bag of candy. I don't live in the city, and I'd honestly prefer not to. Suburbs are a very nice place to live . Though I guess a downside is that there really isn't anything to do around here xP Quote
