antiaircraft Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 The only time we're allowed on the internet is for research, but it looks like I won't be in too much trouble if caught chatting on TDN. :O Quick! Ryan! What topic(s) do you need to research? We can pull down a few Wikipedia pages and start up some debate threads so you have a legitimate excuse justification for your presence on TDN! :P Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Let's say he was looking up this. And this. And this. And this. And this. And this. And this. And this. Too many links? Quote
antiaircraft Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Right! :D So now all we need to do is create a debate thread that manages to pull together black mambas, the Hadean Eon, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pandas, The Phantom of the Opera, Redtail Sharks, and Passenger Pigeons. Then we're good to go! Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 haha, I like your selection of links CAV. I'm totally excited for Kirby's Epic Yarn. That game looks awesome. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Right! :D So now all we need to do is create a debate thread that manages to pull together black mambas, the Hadean Eon, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pandas, The Phantom of the Opera, Redtail Sharks, and Passenger Pigeons. Then we're good to go! Simple. The Black Mamba, the fastest and most deadly snake on earth, is an animal of least concern. However, the Great Panda is an endangered species. Even worse, the only Redtail Sharks in existance are in captivity. Even WORSE, the Passenger Pigeons are extinct. Kirby is like the Redtail Shark, very rare, for there is only one Kirby. And Kirby was created by Masahiro Sakurai, famous for helping create Kirby and the Super Smash Bros series. And Donkey Kong has starred in all of the Smash Bros games. Donkey Kong was created shortly after the dawn of video games. Just like how the Hadean Eon was around the dawn of the earth. About 3.8 billion years after the Hadean Eon ended, Gaston Leroux wrote The Phantom of the Opera, which became a famous film and play. I'm excited for both Epic Yarn and DKCR. Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Donkey Kong looks and sounds awesome. I'm definitely getting it. I don't know about EY though. What's a Kirby game without copying abilities? Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 He can't copy, but he can shapshift. Into a UFO, a tank, and much more. Isn't anyone impressed with my paragraph? Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 *claps* I couldn't have done that CAV xD EY and DKCR will both be epic, since no one will ever beat Nintendo Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 It's good, albeit a bit forced. And Kirby is known for copying. That's kind of like making a Zelda game where Link carries a gun and blasts aliens. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 That's quite the paragraph. :laughingsmiley: Oh yeah Donkey Kong looks good too. I skipped the bongo one but I love the older games. The N64 game is one of my favorites. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I'm a bit of a geek. And I serch things a lot so I can know everything. It's good, albeit a bit forced. And Kirby is known for copying. That's kind of like making a Zelda game where Link carries a gun and blasts aliens. What do you mean by forced? And Link holding a gun made me lol. It sounds a lot like Dead Space Extraction. Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 play a Zelda game first CAV :P btw, did other M come out? :O *goes to check* Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Not yet. At the end of August. And I didn't need to check 'cause I remember this stuff man. I'm a video game person. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I'm TDN's Video Game Addict. No one is more addicted than me. So I'm more than a video game person. Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 and I call myself a Metroid fan :O 2011 is mostly what I'm looking forward to in video games Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 It's not a contest. No one's making hierarchies. What do you play console-wise? (Like currently.) Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 console-wise? Wii Sin and Punishment Star Successor Super Mario Galaxy 2 PS3 nothing right now :/ I know it's consoles, but I'll put handhelds DS Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Pokemon Soul Silver Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 No, handhelds count as consoles. If you want a library list it'll take a while, as I have tons of games, but I'm pretty much the same console wise. Wii, PS3, DS, and my computer, which I count as a console as well. I also still play my GCN games on the Wii and the same for GBA on DS. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 As of now: Wii DSi Xbox 360 PS2 Gamecube I have had a Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, N64, NES, SNES, PS1, Original Xbox, Sega Dreamcast, and Sega Gamegear. Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I have all the Nintendo systems, Playstations except for PSP, and all the Sega systems my Atari is somewhere too Quote

I suppose I'm the odd one out here, living sans-console and all. xD Quote
Revenge Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Let's see...I've had an Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Saturn, Gameboy Color, GBA, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, DS, Wii, PS3, several computers, and my brother personally owns his 360. I'll see if I can check downstairs for the games (All the Xbox games have been sold, and the Saturn was sent to relatives in DR.) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I also had my original DS, but I gave it in to Gamestop for the DSi. My Atari broke. And I also have a PSP. Quote
Tyler. Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I use my DS lite, since my GBA broke, but I still leave it in my case because it is full of pwn Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 My brother has the special Diamond and Pearl edition of the DS Lite: Quote
