Luciana Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 hating the US for providing freedom But Canada's more free. Why doesn't anyone hate them? Oh yea because Canada's awesome <3 Canada. I like the forum update (doesn't stretch the page in Opera anymore), but I still miss being able to directly upload pictures on the forum. Whatever happened to that? :-( Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Well myspace is stealing stuff from facebook all the time :P Facebook is where myspace got the status update idea. Meh. *doesn't care* I just use Myspace to talk with friends. Don't care for new updates that appear. It actually makes it harder for me to use Myspace, since it's becoming a mess. And nobody is PMing me on Myspace, so I don't use it much. I'm currently only using it to use the Simpsons app. I also like Canada. Free health care? Of course! Now I don't have to pay if I hurt myself. Quote
Noog Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I'm not even going to begin to complain about any sort of free health care. *is very opinionated* @Luciana I don't know if that's why everyone hates us, but that's what they say in school. EDIT: Oh Yeah, and Apps/Games on myspace.....stolen from Facebook :P Tom has a facebook, so he should know. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 EDIT: Oh Yeah, and Apps/Games on myspace.....stolen from Facebook :P Tom has a facebook, so he should know. This made me lol. But I don't care. Besides, I have too many accounts in a bunch of places. I don't need to add Facebook to it. And why get Facebook if all I'm going to do is use the Simpsons app, which has been around for YEARS? Quote
Spritzie Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I'm not quite sure it's the same thing though. I mean, say a jerk destroys your lego set, and you rebuild it. But this time, you lock the door and have an armed bodyguard standing right behind it to stop the jerk from coming in in the first place. Wow, that's taking Lego building very seriously. Sounds like something my dad would do. I guess I'll just get used to it. Like I did with the YOU ARE NOT PREPARED changes. My husband had me watching some World of Warcraft videos the other night and they kept saying "You are not prepared." I laughed every time and finally he turned around and was like, "Ummm, yes??" Quote
Noog Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I'm not trying to convince anyone to get facebook :P I'm just trying to portray the social networking scene. XD Quote

I laughed every time and finally he turned around and was like, "Ummm, yes??" I hate WoW. But that would make me laugh, no matter where it was. Quote
Theresa2 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Noog upgrage it a bit defrent but I like it thanks for the link Quote
Spritzie Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I hate WoW. But that would make me laugh, no matter where it was. I'm not sure what I think. He loves it. His dad loves it. He's been trying to get me into more gaming. (He got me playing Maple Story, and Diablo 2.) So I might give it a shot, but I've made no promises. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I don't like Maplestory. For the most part, I don't like those kind of games. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Maple Story isn't for everyone. I love it because it's so cutesy. I love the look of the graphics. I like the multi-player games, because we can play them together. We never did things with anyone else, we just did our own thing. Quote
Luciana Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I hate Maple Story. Wasted 2 years of my life and threw me off emotionally for 1. (Does it still take forever to level up?) Quote
Unstream Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Never played Maple Story. Just never had the motivation to try it xP WoW can get a ton of people really addicted though. Like there are definitely people who spend way to much time on it. Diablo II was fun though from what I remember of it. I played it a couple times before, but it was a while ago. Oh yeah, and regarding the Myspace conversation earlier, I'd just like to mention that Myspace is dead. Nobody has a Myspace anymore :P Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 In that case, I'm nobody. But the reason is because everyone moved to Facebook, and the dreadful piece of crap that is Twitter. Quote
Noog Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I still log into myspace to support local music that can't use facebook. There's some FB rule about having 1000 friends before you can create a bandpage. Other than that, it's pretty much dead on myspace. They've had a recent update that stole more of facebook's features/look, but besides that, it's pretty dull. As for twitter, I use that all of the time as well. Quote
Luciana Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Twitter is pretty good for following sites for updates/extra info. Also for following celebrities if you are a stalker. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I just can't stand Twitter. I won't even bother. Quote
Noog Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 What's so wrong about Twitter? It blocked Justin Bieber from trending. They get respect for doing that. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Yes, but they also helped Miley Cyrus branch out to the internet, by tweeting every 2 seconds. Quote
livvy Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 "trending"? What is trending, and how did Twitter stop it? Quote
Noog Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 TT (Trending topics) are very popular subjects that people are tweeting about. Justin Bieber showed up so often that they blocked anything bieber-related from going on the trending topics. Basically, Justin Bieber is ALWAYS trending...you just have to assume it. Fans are still trying to get through the filters with stuff like Bustin Jieber and Bistin Jueber (which both made it through the filters for less than 24 hours). Quote
Unstream Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I'm gonna take a shot in the dark (or maybe just a poorly lit room) and say that trending = becoming popular? I dunno, I've got nothing against Twitter. To me, it's kinda like some sort of insta-blogging. Edit: Ouch, I better see my sensei cause I just got ninja'd! I still don't get what's so popular about him. Quote
livvy Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 *snickers* That's kind of funny. And Bistin is such a terrible name. And WILL! You look so sad without your star. :( EDIT: Edit: Ouch, I better see my sensei cause I just got ninja'd! Badum tss. (*drum drum cymbal*, if that wasn't clear) Quote
Unstream Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I think we got it Livvy :P Haha I think we all look a little sadder without our stars. Quote
livvy Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Well now Ian will just have to make stars an aspect of EM-ness. *determined nod* :) Quote
