Spritzie
I don't taste anything different with my flavored waters, which have it in it. It's going okay so far. Just playing some Neopets... and gotta go. Deliver is here. Really early. o_O
CAV of Gang Green
Sup Liz. It's great you have extra time. Flavored water is still good, no matter weither it's some sugar, or the artificial sugar, like Splenda. But I'd perfer it when it's completely natural with no added sugar. IrishLiz
Hey CAV. There's a flavored one that I like that's carbonated, with no sugar or anything. It always makes me wonder how they flavor it with everything still at 0. :laughingsmiley:
Spritzie
I love the ingredients on a bottle of flavored, carbonated: Carbonated water (Really?), Citric Acid, Natural flavor. etc. :laughingsmiley:
Unstream
Hi Anna! I'm not too sure you'd remember me, but I definitely remember seeing you around before  Don't most flavored waters have at least artificial sugars? Anyway, artificial sugars tend to be sweeter than normal sugars, and the claims of health hazards haven't been verified.
Spritzie
All the flavored water I've seen, have the artificial sugars. I've yet to see one with real sugar. But then again, I'm not a label reader.
IrishLiz
haha. Me too, Spritzie. Not all flavored waters have artificial sugar, but yeah, most do. As with anything else, too much of anything is bad. It's hard to judge these things. I like the way toxicologists think - everything is toxic; there are just different amounts that your body can handle. You can even die from drinking too much water. EDIT: I haven't seen any with real sugar, just ones with no sugar (artificial or real) at all.
Spritzie
I don't drink enough of it, to be dangerous. I mostly drink it at work. And it's definitely a lot healthier than soda.
IrishLiz
Yeah... the amount of sugar in soda is insane. I was with a bunch of chem majors once, and we were commenting on how big a pile of 40+ grams of sugar is (for a normal-sized can). It's crazy when you think about it that way. We still drank the soda though.
Spritzie
Okay, now you have me curious. How big would a pile of 40+ grams of sugar be?
Revenge
About this much: Surprisingly, I actually get calmer after drinking soda. Go figure.
CAV of Gang Green
I found this: That's a lot of sugar cubes...
Spritzie
Ick. That's way too much sugar. It makes me glad I rarely drink soda now.
IrishLiz
Thanks for the help guys. :) Those are good pictures. It's still good though. I just don't drink soda every day; maybe twice a week. I drink mostly tea.
CAV of Gang Green
I don't know. It keeps me awake. But I usually go for the soda with the least amount of sugar. This includes Canada Dry's Ginger Ale. A full bottle has 56 grams of sugar, while a full bottle of Pepsi has about 68.
Revenge
The thing is, I hate Canada Dry. Pepsi too. I'd have any other soda though, especially root beer. Drinking a lot at once makes my teeth all sticky and squeaky and stuff. We barely ever buy soda anyways. What you want is Malta. Nice. Spritzie
The only time I drink soda, is when we're at Panera's. We're usually there for a long time, and I like the bit of sweet. (Though I don't drink more than maybe a glass or two)
IrishLiz
Ginger Ale is good, especially if you're sick. Coke is my favorite though. I'll drink others sometimes too, just not diet. One of my favorites is Jones Soda. They're the company that did Turkey Gravy Soda. That's not my favorite flavor though. :laughingsmiley: They have a Crushed Melon flavor that's really good. Spritzie
I used to drink Fresca. I loved the Black Cherry flavor. My dad got my started on it.
IrishLiz
I used to drink Fresca too. I didn't know they had a black cherry! Those are good. hm... I kinda want one now!
CAV of Gang Green
The thing is, I hate Canada Dry. Pepsi too. I'd have any other soda though, especially root beer. Root Beer is the only soda I refuse to drink. It tastes disgusting.
Spritzie
As far as I know, there's 3 flavors. The original, Black Cherry, and a Peach. I loved the Black Cherry. I haven't had any in forever though.
Wembly
They have a Crushed Melon flavor that's really good. Melon? Now that sounds interesting. Although I still maintain that carbonation is revolting. That does make me really want to find my melon lip balm or chapstick or whatnot
