Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Well, shall we pack up the quilt and ice cream and head back home? I was kind of enjoying the vacation. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I can make a scarf so we can have them with the quilts and hats. Hm, I could bring tea, but I think the fizzy drinks are good for now. I brought some chips and salsa when we have a snack break and want something salty to match all the sweet stuff. And yes, Dippin' Dots are quite good. I haven't had them in years though. Maybe I'll get them next time at the movie theater. I never want to spend the $3 though. Quote
livvy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 CAV, we've been calling him Ryan for weeks. Nothing has blown up. I refuse to believe you are somehow allergic to names. (Though there is a documented phobia of names. I pity whomever has it.) I now crave ice cream. Actually, I crave some kind of milkshake. But it's rather late, and I can't find the blender (It's hiding somewhere in the mess I call a kitchen), so I'll have to settle for Moose Tracks. Would you like some too? EDIT: Well, all good things must come to an end, unfortunately. I was enjoying the Martian vacation too. :P Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Oooh, I'll have some just as soon as I'm done with dinner. We can quilt again another day if you want to enjoy vacation. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I agree. This was awesome. Let's all head back to earth, to Livvy's, and have some ice cream. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Ok! Deal! We'll have to organize a time to go back though. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Maybe we should go to Saturn next time. I've always wanted to get a better look, but Jupiter was in the way tonight. Quote
livvy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Oh yes, let's go to Saturn! Though I imagine we'll have to dress warmly, as it's rather far from the sun. And bring hot chocolate. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Some hot chocolate, some hot tea, some hot chai tea, and some coffee. And we'll have an even more amazing view. Quote
livvy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 That's a delectable selection of drinks. :imaginary yum smiley: Now, should our planetary travels ever include Pluto? What's our position on its planethood? Is it worth visiting? Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 "When I was your age, Pluto was a planet" And regardless of what "scientists" say. Pluto is a planet. So it's on our to-visit list. Quote
Wembly Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I feel bad for pluto. We told it it was a planet for so many years then we were just like, NOPE, and snatched its meaning in life right out from under it so I say we visit it. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Who do they think they are, telling us what a planet it is, and isn't?? It will always be. That's like saying Pluto/Hades wasn't a Greek god. Pffft! Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Well, shall we pack up the quilt and ice cream and head back home? Umm about that, Earth got destroyed. CAV, we've been calling him Ryan for weeks. Nothing has blown up. I refuse to believe you are somehow allergic to names. Not that I am allergic, I just not used to it. It's weird. There are 13 planets. 8 actual ones, and 5 dwarf planets. Pluto is 1 of the dwarf planets. Quote
livvy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 My thoughts exactly. As Wembly said, it was recently deprived of its self-identity. We ought to visit it and cheer it up. :) Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Umm about that, Earth got destroyed. Not that I am allergic, I just not used to it. It's weird. First, no it didn't. That was all in your head. We swear, it's here, and it's fine. Second, it being weird, doesn't make you think the world will end. So you are therefore, allergic. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Actually, Pluto is a planet, but a dwarf planet. Dwarf planets are just smaller versions of planets. Where'd Ryan go? And I'm not allergic. It's not like I sneeze to Clark, or get hives from Naya. Quote

livvy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 *sneezes* Maybe I'm allergic to Clark! :O *sneezes again* Oh, nope, just cat fluff in my nose. Silver sheds like crazy. So what are these other dwarf planets? Should we visit them too? Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 CAV, I know what the definition of Dwarf Planet is. No, you just try to destroy the universe from Chris. 0k, but not everyone does. It's called A JOKE. You don't get A JOKE? Ceres, Makemake, Eris and Haumea are the other dwarf planets. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 We should visit everything, I think. Planet, dwarf planet, and moons. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Ceres, Makemake, Eris and Haumea are the other dwarf planets. We should visit everything, I think. Planet, dwarf planet, and moons. We can't visit Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, or Neptune, and for obvious reasons. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Oooh, lots of good drinks. That's good because it might take a while to get there. And I still think of Pluto as a planet. EDIT: CAV, you don't want to cross the asteroid belt? Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Once again, a Dwarf Planet can be considered a planet. Quote
