CAV of Gang Green
Yeah I heard that the Rays are right behind the Yankees. From what I understand they're both at the top of the AL East AND the whole MLB. Unfotunately, Yankees do in fact have the best record in baseball right now. But if the standings stay the same up until the playoffs, then I think the Rangers will win the WS. It's time that they do, cause they haven't won a single one. Wembly
Oh see I think Rugrats and Spongebob are annoying. I associate Rugrats with my annoying stepcousin though. Uh, I grew up when Salute Your Shorts, Pete and Pete, Ren and Stimpy, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, All That, etc. were popular. My faves were Legends of the Hidden Temple (!!!), Salute Your Shorts, Double Dare, Gas, and Clarissa Tells It All. Yes! I love those too. I actually have a Green Monkey Legends of the Hidden Temple shirt, it's awesome. Oh gosh darn it Anisha, the word that means that same thing as crap but starts with an S. If that wasn't clue enough then you don't need to know. Haha, too funny. I was actually crying I was laughing so hard at this.
-Ryan
AH! BASEBALL! T-T I seriously don't understand how you love that game so much, CAV. o.o
Spritzie
Late, as usual every morning on this post, but here I am: What?! It said you only had to have 100 posts to apply?! :ohno: EDIT: sorry bout ruining the surprise Spritzie. Here, have a cookie! *hands cookie* :laughingsmiley: It is 100 posts. (Previously, it was 500. I know because I started making the goal to reach 500 for that reason, when I had about... 300 posts.) *takes cookie and sits down with some chocolate milk* Thank you. I must admit I'm leaning towards Spritzie on this one. For the simple reasong that modding will give her something to do in the remaining 8 hours of her work days. :P Awww thank you Livvy. I feel so loved and appreciated. Wait... for the simple reason that I need something to do at work for 8 hours???? Awww. Bummer. :laughingsmiley: The only reason I would really want to be a mod is to finally know all their secrets and how much control they have here, plus what it looks like. :O I would want to see how you edit somones post, what the staff(possibly mod if it exists) forums look like, and if you can really invite yourself to a convo and if so how you find the convo. Ryan, I think almost all the mods that have replied, have said Mods can't invite themselves to convos. But that Ian probably could if there was a major need to. I lied, i'm not Anisha, she dosen't actually exist, that's just CAV returning since the new CAV is really Mike... I'm actually... -drum roll- SHERLOC- Oh wait, I meant... SPRITZIE! :O You are not!!! I'm being framed! Or impersonated. One or the other. <_< I read Vahalla Rising for a project senior year of high school. I got tired of the same thing happening over and over again - tragedy, Dirk Pitt miraculously saves everyone, repeat. I had a LJ that I updated all through high school and some in college until about a year and a half ago. Some bad stuff happened in my life and I didn't feel like updating it anymore. Besides, a lot of my old friends stopped updating their journals. I barely remember Vahalla Rising. It probably wasn't that good. I think Trojan Odyssey is probably the best. He has a lot of interesting plot ideas, but he mostly does it along the line of: Some psycho is trying to take over the world, it's up to Dirk Pitt to stop it. And you know, as usual, Dirk Pitt saves a gorgeous woman, and they immediately fall in love or something. (Commence eye rolling here.) But he's still a favorite. His Kurt Austin series is pretty much the same thing. I think you would like his Oregon Files series. That one is awesome. And totally different plot/storyline/character wise. I used LJ WAY back. Then I quit. Then I got on it again a few years ago, after convincing my friend to post there, since I didn't have a Myspace. But I phased it out again. Wembly
I agree. I find baseball extremely tedious to watch and only marginally better to play.
Anisha
I don't even know the 'B' of Baseball. I never watch it. :guiltysmiley:
Spritzie
I used to enjoy baseball. I love Basketball and baseball. Both, because I've been on softball and basketball teams, so I have an understanding of the games. (I despise football, soccer, hockey, etc.) I used to watch basketball, but after my team lost in the finals, a 2nd year, due to multiple bad ref calls, I haven't watched a game since. That was over 10 years ago. :laughingsmiley: And I never watched baseball much. Only the year the Florida Marlins won the World Series. CAV of Gang Green
Yes! I love those too. I actually have a Green Monkey Legends of the Hidden Temple shirt, it's awesome. I always cheered for the Silver Snakes. They were awesome. AH! BASEBALL! T-T I seriously don't understand how you love that game so much, CAV. o.o Do you hate it because of the pitiful Diamondbacks? Spritzie
Do you hate it because of the pitiful Diamondbacks? How about the Rockies for a pitiful team? That year we made it to the World Series, only to lose every.single.game. :laughingsmiley:
CAV of Gang Green
But the Rockies are winning the Wild Card right now.
Spritzie
But the Rockies are winning the Wild Card right now. I don't follow sports. I find it boring. I'd rather play, than watch it. I hear things places.
CAV of Gang Green
I feel that way with Basketball. I love playing it, but it's so BORING to watch. Baseball, Hockey and Football are both fun to watch and play. Soccer, it depends if the match you are watching is boring or not.
Spritzie
I love basketball. Playing especially. But I enjoy watching. Or I used to, at least. But I refuse to watch the NBA again. Besides, now the players aren't anything like they were in the days of Karl Malone, John Stockton, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, etc. It wouldn't really be enjoyable nowadays. CAV of Gang Green
I only cheer for the Lakers because my friends forced me to. Other than that, I don't really care.
Spritzie
I despise the Lakers more than any other team. That's another reason I'm so irritated with Karl Malone. (My favorite player.) He wanted that stupid ring so badly, he became a traitor. He gave up on the Jazz, and moved to the Lakers. Served him right they didn't win that year. At least Stockton was respectable. He retired with the Jazz.
-Ryan
I can't stnd the Laker or the Spurs. Gasol, the dude with the huge nose, and Kobe. I hate them all. <.< Although Fisher dosen't seem like that bad of a guy. Any Jason Richardson, Jared Dudley, or Steve Nash fans here? Oh yeah, I love Goren Dragic too, but I hate his rival on the Lakers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR4wOUk_mEs Look at that! <.< That was SOOOO on purpose, and while he did flop, the dude didn't need to hit him!
