Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Do you hate it because of the pitiful Diamondbacks? How about the Rockies for a pitiful team? That year we made it to the World Series, only to lose every.single.game. :laughingsmiley: Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 But the Rockies are winning the Wild Card right now. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 But the Rockies are winning the Wild Card right now. I don't follow sports. I find it boring. I'd rather play, than watch it. I hear things places. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I feel that way with Basketball. I love playing it, but it's so BORING to watch. Baseball, Hockey and Football are both fun to watch and play. Soccer, it depends if the match you are watching is boring or not. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I love basketball. Playing especially. But I enjoy watching. Or I used to, at least. But I refuse to watch the NBA again. Besides, now the players aren't anything like they were in the days of Karl Malone, John Stockton, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, etc. It wouldn't really be enjoyable nowadays. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I only cheer for the Lakers because my friends forced me to. Other than that, I don't really care. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I despise the Lakers more than any other team. That's another reason I'm so irritated with Karl Malone. (My favorite player.) He wanted that stupid ring so badly, he became a traitor. He gave up on the Jazz, and moved to the Lakers. Served him right they didn't win that year. At least Stockton was respectable. He retired with the Jazz. Quote
-Ryan Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I can't stnd the Laker or the Spurs. Gasol, the dude with the huge nose, and Kobe. I hate them all. <.< Although Fisher dosen't seem like that bad of a guy. Any Jason Richardson, Jared Dudley, or Steve Nash fans here? Oh yeah, I love Goren Dragic too, but I hate his rival on the Lakers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR4wOUk_mEs Look at that! <.< That was SOOOO on purpose, and while he did flop, the dude didn't need to hit him! Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I don't know. In my neighborhood it's the whole Kobe Bryant vs Lebron James thing. Most of my friends like Kobe, so I went with them. I hate Lebron a lot right now. He also just wants a ring. They actually have people burning everything with his name in Cleveland because of how and why he left. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 They actually have people burning everything with his name in Cleveland because of how and why he left. People are crazy and over-react. People did the same thing with Beatles stuff, after John Lennon said they were more popular than Jesus. It's just pathetic. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I wouldn't go as far as to burn things, but what Lebron did was in fact really messed up. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I don't know the details, but it's not out of the ordinary for people to get upset. But too many people freak out about things that just aren't worth it. Quote
-Ryan Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Another reason I hate Sasha Vujawhatever. xD Wow, lol. xD I agree, people overeact to the smallest things. =/ Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 People need to just relax. Like that saying "Don't sweat the small stuff" There's plenty of important things to worry about, leave the other things alone. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 People overreact to the darnest things. They should make that into a show, and have Bill Cosby host. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Now that show, Kid's Say the Darnedest things.... That was such an amazing show. I miss that. Quote
livvy Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I had to go to sleep before I got to comment, so I'll drag up a bit of old conversation: Rocket Power, Rugrats, and Doug were amazing. There were other shows I really liked too, but they're escaping my mind at the moment... Anywho, to current conversation. Or more old conversation. Maybe it's bad that I read everything I miss. :P Cheat! (or BullCrap in real life) is quite a fun game. But I'm such a goodytwoshoes that everyone can tell when I'm lying, so I'm very bad at it. xP I think that, at least in America, people would complain that the stickers were like brain control to make us eat candy and become fat. The same thing is happening with fast food and toys. *snerks* People Overreact to the Darndest Things? They could just film America for a day and they'd have all the footage they need. Quote
Anisha Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I seriously overreact to a lot of things. Is that really bad? :/ Sorry. EDIT: Livvy!! ^_^ And yes, Cheat! is a fun game to play. Because you can cheat. Quote
livvy Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Anisha! =D Question: What time is it where you are? As long as you don't sue someone over whatever you're overreacting at, then no, you're fine. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 As long as you don't sue someone over whatever you're overreacting at, then no, you're fine. Livvy, you mean I can't sue because no one warned me my coffee was hot? Or that the jar of peanuts of my desk, contains nuts? *pouts* Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 People Overreact to the Darndest Things? They could just film America for a day and they'd have all the footage they need. This is funny because it's the truth. It's called teenage girls with Twitter. Then you have the perfect test subject. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 CAV, it would be anyone with Twitter. I so despise it. Now if you had said teenage girls with cell phones.... :laughingsmiley: Quote
Anisha Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Anisha! =D Question: What time is it where you are? As long as you don't sue someone over whatever you're overreacting at, then no, you're fine. Let's see. I am mainly online at 9am to 3am, and 3am to 6am(NST). :) Hmmn. I overreact a lot, to be honest. I don't know how to control. It just happens. :* Quote
-Ryan Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 -dosen't want to comment on some of the conversations- CAV, it would be anyone with Twitter. I so despise it. Now if you had said teenage girls with cell phones.... ^This. xDDD Quote
livvy Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Livvy, you mean I can't sue because no one warned me my coffee was hot? Or that the jar of peanuts of my desk, contains nuts? *pouts* Nope, sorry Spritzie. (I really hope the latter hasn't been tried, because if so... there is no hope for America.) No, Ani, I mean what time is it for you? I'm trying to figure out the time zone difference. :P Quote
