Bleh, I don't overly like KQ. It seriously lags my computer and freezes it sometimes.

I overly like KQ because I have a super fast laptop and I rarely get people who quit on me. All you have to do us chat a few sentences with them, and so they don't quit.

Ok I'm assuming KQ is referring to keyquest (we're on a neopets forum afterall ;3)

 

I'm a huge KQ fan. Not only for the prizes, but I really like board games to begin with. Monopoly <3

 

 

...I guess I'm just kind of lame that way. xD

I'm unsure of how Key Quest would run on my work computer. It has a fast connection, but due to it running Vista, plus all the tech. programs required for my work stuff, it lags easily, which is why I use Chrome. I guess I'll have to try it though.

I have Vista too and KeyQuest runs just fine. I don't think the other programs you have installed should matter as long as you don't have everything open at once....which you shouldn't because you'd either be working or playing ;3

 

Although I admit that it can be really annoying when you're lagging because it's guaranteed you'd lose the mini-games that way. x_x

I wish it were that easy. Our work computers really need more RAM. Even opening up Microsoft Outlook, can lag it. But I'm will give it a shot anyway.

Wow. Are you and your family okay? How strongly could you feel it?

 

For some stupid reason, I've always wanted to experience an earthquake. I have this fascination with disasters, especially tornadoes.... those are my favorite. (Ironically, they scare me the most too. Probably because where I like, the only natural disaster that is any sort of serious threat, is tornadoes.)

In Colorado, we don't get earthquakes often. We got one probably... 10 years ago, on New Years Day, probably about 100 miles from where I live. But it was so small, we couldn't feel it.

 

And tornadoes usually happen about... 20 miles east of me. So I'm pretty safe, snuggled up against the base of the Rocky Mountains.

 

I guess that's one thing about living in Cali, right?

:O Oh wow, LA got hit too? I guess I'll be seeing this on the news. I'm surprised I haven't already...is it all over already? or do they think more will hit? =/

Oh and being Canadian means that I have seriously never encountered a natural disaster...I suppose I'm too far north of anything going on.

My teachers usually don't get mad at me for doing that kind of thing becasue what they always catch me doing is reading while everyone elseis texting. xD

When I was in HS, there was no cell phones. No one had them. Freshman year, I had a pager. I was one of only a few. And if they caught you with it out of your pocket, they'd take it away. I can't even imagine everyone running around in class with cell phones.

 

In 7th grade, my friend Rachel and I just used sign language to talk. :laughingsmiley:

Hahaha. Really, texting isnt a word on your thing? I was typing my name (Divya) and I accidentaly pressed Space after the Div. The squiggly red line didnt show up, so I looked up what a "div" is on word. It is...an offensive term used to directly insult somebody's intelligence. UK slang. Hahaha! Div is my nickname! :laughingsmiley:

I love the built in spell check. I'm one of those people that if I can't spell the word I want to use, I will look it up to find the right spelling. If I can't find it, I will use a different word. I hate having typos, misspellings, etc. But I guess that's just the English major in me. :laughingsmiley: That's why I like Chrome so much. (And Firefox)
