The All New Snowager

After collecting my Advent Calendar prizes I visited the Winter Starlight Celebration and clicked on the Snowager.

 

The artwork is new and looks awesome!

 

I was able to get a prize and it's not even the correct times as before.

 

I believe the Snowager has become a daily where you can only visit once at any time of the day.

 

This will be a lot easier to get free items or that all to frequent blast!

 

Note: Can someone post a picture of the artwork?

I only got a yellow snowball but I'm hoping for some good prizes on occasion. At least this way we don't have to worry about visiting it at certain times of the day.

Maybe it will be like the shrine, where you can go once every 8 hours (seeing it used to be thrice a day until now)?

I'm also hoping that you can do it three times a day, or even two, like some other dailies are. Because if so, I'd much rather be able to do it on my own time. But if it's once a day I won't like that. Plus, how is the avatar going to work? Make it less rare?

 

Ps. I got a royal boy draik plushie. So at least my prize was better than normal.

The Snowager lives in Terror Mountain (the one at the top of the explore map), in the Ice Caves (automatically goes to this) in the top left corner :)

 

He's so pretty now!! I just got a race to riches scratchcard, and will keep trying throughout the day to see whether its hourly/8hrly/12hrly or daily or whatever and then I guess we can see how often we can get prizes, although I'm sure someone else at TDN will work it out before me!

I think I'm going to like this much better...I've only gotten 100np and under prizes before this and was just constantly roared at :(

 

Edit: Ah, right. I just tried again and as it said 'You have already collected your prize today. Please come back tomorrow for a new prize!' so sounds like you're right Mouseykins, and it's a new daily. Well not new..but yeah.

thanks for the info but i'm actually after where the winter starlight celebrations is located, i assume it would be terror mountain but after having a look i couldn't see it?

After my nightly study session I decided to try out the Snowager again and was able to get a prize. It turned out to be a poison snowball, not that great but at least I was able to get another prize.

 

If anyone has the time please check back hourly to see when the snowager gives you a prize and record your results here. I'll also be testing this and let you know what I discover.

I'm not sure if there is an exact timecap on the Snowager this month, but I got a Yellow Nimmo Keyring at 4:30 AM EST, and a Red Frost Cannon at 6:40 AM EST. I'm not sure if it's every hour or every two hours, but it's nicer than having to wait til certified times like 6AM NST, 2PM NST, and 10PM NST if you ask me.

I got a prize (Purple Negg) at around 4:30 AM NST.

 

I am excited because I was never on during the right times!

 

I wonder if this will just last for December rather than permanently. It might have something to do with the holiday season.

I've had 2 prizes from the snowager today, firstly i got a negg this morning, then just now when i was showing my daughter the page he gave me a plushie. Wierd

I tested the Snowager timecap theory for this month, and I'm confirming that you can get a prize from the Snowager every two hours since your last visit. Like for instance, you visit the Snowager at 6AM NST, you have to return at 8AM NST to get another shot at the Snowager, not 7AM NST.
