I'm sure that you've seen many of the "We're Hiring" posts over the past couple of weeks and here's another one. But rather than advertising an individual position, I just wanted to let everybody know that we're hiring for virtually every department at The Daily Neopets! Opportunity knocks... it's wide open. You can be a part of Team TDN! Apply today!

Don't be sad that you're not a part of Team TDN... APPLY TODAY!

Apply For Content Team: are you a gifted writer that loves Neopets? We need you to be a part of TDN's Content Department to help write new articles and guides and keep our current guides up to date. Check it out! (and if you're in a timezone that allows you to be on around midnight NST, we definitely need you!)

Apply For Battlepedia Team: our Battlepedia is in the midst of a lot of change right now and we're looking for quality reviewers and item adders/updaters. Be a part! Calling all battlers of Neopia!

Apply For News Team: The Daily Neopets prides itself on having the #1 unreleased Neopets news coverage. If you're an active Neopets player and are on top of the latest Neopets news, join the News Team!

Please follow any of the individual links above to see a description of the job (what you'd be doing) and what it requires. I think that you'll find that Team TDN is dynamic and fun. If you're a Neopets fanatic... we need you!

If anyone has questions regarding the opened positions, feel free to ask here. :D

And as always, good luck to everyone who decides to apply. :)

Hmm...I should actually consider applying for content or battlepedia. However, I've never tested weapons before, so I'm not sure how to do it...but I definitely have the np available for getting weapons!

Is there training (just something to read) so we know how to test the items?

is this a paying position?

I'm sort of interested in doing Content but I'm not always able to use MSN instant messenger because of my internet connection . . . should I still apply?

You don't need to be on MSN all the time. Though it's used during the training period. ;)

So yes, you can still apply even if your MSN is not reliable. We will figure a way to stay in touch that works best for you after.

Alrighty! I will go ahead and apply then and hope I get a position :)

Edit: Where should I go to apply for the News team? the link is just to a picture . . .

I applied for the Battlepedia Team but was rejected. ;-; Was that because I didn't have a TDN account at the time that I applied? (I created this one a few days later.)

I'd probably be a good content writer- I've written successful guides, once got offered (offered, not applied) a job at SN as a guide/article writer, I can be on at midnight... but having to write such a lot of guides sounds an awful lot of work. :/ It took me about four days' worth of Neo time to write my Hab guide, and two days to write my coding guide.

I don't think I'll be applying this time around after all. I've got too much writing own my plate as it is with school & I don't feel quite prepared enough yet . . .

I fixed the link :)

It will now take you to the application.

Your Habitarium is very in-depth, so I can see why it took you 4 days to put it together. :)

Most of the midnight duties are short and sweet though. Might take you 15min at most to perform the update. Basically, we are looking for more people to team with us and bring out the best events coverage we can. (There will always be a couple of articles or guides to write, but you are free to contribute the way you want in regards of producing new content.)

I really want to apply for Battlepedia Team but I have problems with MSN live messenger. It won't load in my laptop. I have skype and YM though. I have been submitting new weapons and weapon stats for quite a while now. Am I still qualified to apply even though I don't have MSN?

Yes, you can still apply if you have a different type of messenger or don't/can't have MSN.

There are other ways to contact you :) MSN is listed because it's probably the most popular... but there are other outlets out there. :D

It's also probably worth noting that (at least when I last checked) Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger integrate pretty well.

I am extremely afraid of "screwing up". I love this site too much to stand by and watch myself single handidly mess it up.

However, I do wish all the appliees (hohoho) good luck! :D

I'm thinking of applying for content, but I'm unsure what my sample should be about, would it count against me if I wrote a article about something you already have a article too?

Feel free to write about something we already have.

We basically want to see if you can spell correctly and if your writing style fits within TDN. ;) (Of course, all the information your provide must also be correct and current.)

There is also a nifty site called Meebo that allows you to use MSN from in browser. I use it when I'm on a school computer that doesn't have MSN installed!

Thanks for the info. :)

Does anyone know if I would've gotten immediately rejected because I didn't have a TDN account at the time?

Good luck to all applicants, I look forward to seeing new faces!

And to everyone stressing the MSN thing, I don't go on MSN and I'm on the team.

Everyone will work with the best way to contact you so don't stress yourself out! :)

Xepha pointed out during one of my first tasks after completing training (when I thought I had destroyed the chocolate avatar items page) that it's pretty hard to self-implode the site. As for content, it's always good to have a new perspective. And if your not sure about anything, any of your ideas, coding, anything, all the staff members, from all departments, are really helpful.

Besides, if you apply and get in, how bad could you be? :P
