Do you ever switch out your Active pet?

Every Sunday I switch out my active pet on all of my accounts. I feel that my pets all need a chance to shine and therefore that's what I do.

I usually have my Darigan Hissi as my active during the AC. Other than that its my Shoyru that hasnt been painted yet so I won't have to worry about Boochi.

I do only for the Underwater Fishing Cavern.

I'll do it even more when my Kiko is a Halloween Faerie Kiko, just want to avoid losing a good cross-paint pet when Boochi comes.

I only ever have Biskit as my active - if she gets zapped by Boochi, it wouldn't be as expensive to repaint her as if, say, kawaiiAddison was zapped. I sometimes have AWF as my active, but that's rare as well.

I used to. For years, I liked to keep my pets' levels even, so each time a pet gained a level, I'd switch to a different one. (3 were unpainted, 1 was painted Rainbow.)

 

Now, I don't. My Draik is always my active. (One, I'm enjoying her, since she's not her final color yet.) But once all my main pets are painted, my Draik will remain my active because she'll be the cheapest to repaint. (I'll have 2 lab/FFQ only colors, and one that costs 4 million, so Faerie will be the cheapest.)

Er, to be the complete opposite of everyone else, I do every day. Sometimes multiple times, just on a whim.

I only switch mine if I'm going to do something "dangerous" like go bobbing for apples. That way Drevillion won't get harmed. I just use my chocolate ogrin for my crash test dummy. :laughingsmiley:

I will when it comes to fishing (troubleso is the highest level ((for the avatar)) in fishing). I am not paranoid (not saying anyone else is) about boochi. I kinda like the baby look.

I think it's really cool that a few of you switch our your actives so often! I didn't used to, I always had my Gelert active. But now that I have a Cybunny, she's been my new active. Still, my Gelert's the one with all the good stats so I switch to her sometimes because I love her!!! I just painted my pets too, my Gelert is a Baby (for now, until I find a better color!) and my new Cybunny is Faerie (loooove itttt!)! =D

Like most who answered I don't switch out my main pet uless I am fishing, then I switch it right back again

Not all that much. The only time I switch out my active pet is for fishing, Symol Hole, Coltzan's Shrine or the Expellibox.

Granted, I rarely ever do my dailies anymore. XD

I do reasonably often. Usually between my Bori and Ogrin, as they're the ones I fish with. But sometimes I'll just choose on a whim and switch actives. I like them all to get a little time in the spotlight XD

I change it up every couple of months.. though (not to be cliche) I do it whenever I remember to go fishing. I'm not all that fond of my pets.. but ones a Lap Ray pet, one for avatar lending, and the other for BD.. when I get the stats up to par.

Never, I don't even bother fishing with my other pet (solely used for the lab, haha). I also don't have to worry about Boochi since my active is UC.

The last time I switched my active pet was when I put my lupe as my active because it is my lab ray pet (I call it an it because its gender keeps changing... Which makes it hard to remember what it is lol) and I no longer wanted to risk Sephrenia once I painted her Maractite at the Rainbow Fountain.

I normally don't, because my active (Sentinae) is my not-quite-but-working-on-it-BD pet, and I want her to be in favor of all those stat REs. Although I am in danger of color changing REs as well (she's painted Faerie!), I guess I'll live. When I do change them, I just do it on a random impulse :P

I usually keep my lab rat active, but for example when I'm doing certain dailies (Coltzan's Shrine & fishing) I switch to Kuutam0. ^_^ But not for long, I'm really paranoid about getting a colour-changing RE!

I almost always leave Frostgleam as my active, since she's my Battledome pet and my pet with the high fishing score. I know I should switch my active to my lab pet, since Frostgleam has been hit by 5 colour-change random events in the past 2 years. Luckily, Ghost is a pretty cheap colour. I'm way too scared to keep my Werelupe as active for that reason.
