antiaircraft
"Excuse me," Spanner said, pulling a mini-propulsion system out of his pack, "Not to be rude, but I feel obliged to find Firos. I'll be back soon." With that, he activated it and shot off into the dark water.
Foxy!
Sakkani walked down the deck. It was small, maybe a bit cramped, but still rather comfortable. She walked into the ship's kitchen. "Not to be rude, but I'm rather hungry- is there anything I can eat? I haven't eaten in what feels like ages," said Sakkani humbly.
Guest Tyler
"Yes, come into the galley." said Scarblade leading them to a room with tables and chairs. Food was gently sitting on plates on the tables.
Meeptroid
Oran shot Scarblade a friendly smile and thanked him. He then sat down in one of the chairs.
antiaircraft
Spanner rode his propulsion unit deeper into the water, following Firo's trail using his portable sensor kit. Then his kit picked up something heading the other way. Towards the Revenge II. He turned his propulsion unit and headed for a closer look. After moving about 100 metres, he got a recognisable reading. "Oh darn." He said to no-one in particular. "Where did Sloth get sea-nukes?" He kicked his propulsion unit to full throttle and headed back towards the Revenge II.
Guest Tyler
After the diner there was a shout from the crow's nest, "CAPTAIN! LARGE MASS OFF THE STARBOARD SIDE!" "If you will all excuse me, I have some small business to attend to." said Scarblade, leaving the galley.
antiaircraft
Spanner climbed onto the deck of the Revenge II. "There's a sea-nuke locked on us!"
Midtime
Firos needed some time alone. He swam as fast as he could. The Grarrl-- Spanner, he had heard them call him-- was following him. Suddenly Spanner pulled away. Why did he do that? wondered Firos. Suddenly an enormous black mass appeared in front of Firos. It was coming closer. Firos barely had time to take out and activate his best shield before it hit him and exploded.
Guest Tyler
Scarblade picked up a Maracite boomerang andthrew it at the nuke. It struck the navigational lens and threw the nuke into a spin while the Revenge II sailed out of the nuke's range. Then the Maracite cannons fired towards the nuke, which was still in a spin. A spear struck it directly and it exploded. "Sloth, you stupid little bucket of sludge, you can't stop the Revenge II!" shouted Scarblade. ((Sorry, I was typing while antiaircraft_3 posted.)) antiaircraft
((That's okay, we can say it was another one)) Spanner stared in amazement. "This is one tough ship you have here Captain."
Midtime
Firos was knocked unconscious by the blast from the micro nuke. However, his shield protected him well, and he sustained no injuries. He woke to find himself at exactly the same point he had been when he had been hit; such was the power of the shield. However, it was one use. He deactivated it, and saw several identical missiles-- and they were headed straight for the Revenge II! Only a few days ago, he would have swam off and watched detachedly from a safe distance, but never had he felt such-- such loyalty towards these people-- no, his friends. He took out his Maraquan paintbrush, painted himself Maraquan, and swam as fast as possible back to the Revenge II.
antiaircraft
"Missile, starboard, 20 degrees! Aim for the tail fins!" Spanner shouted. A Maractite boomerang knocked the missile off course and tore off it's steering mechanism. "Port, 10 degrees! Starboard, 15 degrees! Dead ahead! Port 29 degrees!" The missiles were being destroyed fast, but sooner or later one would get through. "I think we need something a bit more creative... can this ship fly?" Foxy!
Sakkani threw a battle muffin at the missle, which exploded, but ultimately did nothing but veer the missle off course. She ran to the ladder to the crow's nest, and began to climb up. What she saw when she was in the crow's nest shocked everyone.
Guest Tyler
"He looks like he was well prepared for me." said Captain Scarblade then he turned to a crew member and whispered something to him. "Yes sir." replied the crewman. The crewman picked up a strange horn and tuned it. As soon as the crewman blew into it, the field of nukes exploded instantly. Leaving a beautiful array of debris and dust. "Helmsman, bring us down lower. Maybe we can avoid his sensors if we can go low enough." said the Captain. Midtime
Firos weaved around the missiles almost playfully, except he wasn't. He was hurrying to get to the ship. Far away in the distance, he heard explosion after explosion detonating as it was hit-- but eventually one was sure to get through. Suddenly, though, he heard the faint peal of a trumpet. What good is that going to do? he thought. Then all the nukes suddenly disintegrated. Oh. Then he saw something even bigger approaching. Squidlike, with masses of tentacles and a mouth ready to devour anything in its path. He made one last effort, diving to the deck of the Revenge II, and was about to go inside when he thought, that thing looks somehow a bit like that cute little squid thing I cared for and released when it was big enough! He called out to it. "Squelm?((All right, I'm not a great creator of names))" The great behemoth turned around, looking at the thing which had called its name... and gave a happy roar that Firos knew was meant to be a squeal. He had found delight in the small thing for at least a few months. It wasn't small any more-- it had obviously grown fast. Firos reached out and stroked one of the squid-like creature's tentacles. It tried to nuzzle him, but instead nearly knocked him off the deck.
antiaircraft
Spanner looked at Firos and the giant squid creature in shock. "I don't think I'm ever gonna get that guy."
Meeptroid
Oran slithered up to the deck to see what all the commotion was about. I must've fallen asleep after the meal... The gigantic squid-like creature was then spotted by Oran. He rubbed his eyes several times in order to tell whether he was still asleep or not. After he came to the conclusion that he was in fact awake, he stretched out his wings and began to lift himself off of the deck. Oran was hovoring in the air as he gazed down upon the beastly sea creature. He prepared his amulet just in case...
antiaircraft
Spanner decided to make himself useful and pulled out his portable sensor kit. "This isn't any species I studied in training."
Guest Tyler
"Put that thing away boy! Have you even thought of the possibility of Sloth using your instruments to track us?" snapped Scarblade toward Spanner.
Meeptroid
Oran looked down below. I suppose Scarblade does have a point. Sloth can be very crafty and although he hadn't suceed in taking over Neopia yet, that doesn't stop him from trying again.

Midtime
Firos quickly became aware of the many pairs of eyes watching him. He stopped stroking the gigantic creature and slowly turned to face his gaping audience.
antiaircraft
Spanner turned to Scarblade. "Apparently, you have no idea exactly how good I am with my sensor equipment. Better than Sloth I might add."
Guest Tyler
"It is still space station equipment, and who controls the stations right now?" said Scarblade. "Yes, Spanner, the station secretly put tracking chips in all of the station equipment. They were careful placing the chips too. We need to get rid of your equipment, or Sloth will know exactly where we are anywhere on Neopia." said Takinito.
