The Faeries' Ruin: Chapter 2

Chapter 2 of the Faeries' Ruin has been released.

At the end of the chapter, hit "continue" and follow through the library, grabbing the items that he needs to steal, without getting caught, and head to the door. Any additional items you pick up will be placed in your inventory.

 

 

There are four acheivements to complete:

1) Getting all the items, and escaping.

2) Getting the mirror (shiny item)

3) Only getting all four glowing items (you can go back and complete this)

4) Coming close to Xandra but not getting zapped.

In the Fearless Deads Section I only completed two of the three. The one I didn't get is the task at hand. Did I do something wrong? At the end of the puzzle when I exited the library there's a button that says play again and under that there's the to be continued image.

 

This is my first comic/puzzle plot.

EDIT: Took forever to get them all. I only had to do it once for the third achievement!

I'm having the same problem. I've gotten to the door with all items and she zapped me. Just have to keep trying I guess!

Well, technically no, but they are how you earn points and advance in the plot. So if you want to participate, yeah, you kinda have to. You'll get the hang of it. If you check out this topic, you'll find a lot of helpful hints. :)

I have to admit, I enjoyed this once I got the hang of it. :) Plot's already looking way better than the last few, hopefully it will continue to be good. Now I'm just replaying for giggles and in the hope it might earn extra plot points...although this round I'm well and truly stuck, she just summoned rubble in the only two places I can get between the bookcases to the door. :eh: Unwinnable round?! Not very nice of you, Xandra. :P

 

Edit: oh never mind, I hadn't realized that you *can* clear rubble, it just takes a couple rounds. :P Still kind of a pain.

I too have been playing just for fun. (And the half-hope that there might be extra points in it for me. But mostly just for fun. :D ) And yeah, the rubble is fortunately clearable.

LIVVY! Thanks so much for the link.. after reading through I had no trouble what-so-ever getting my last two deeds! Standing still as well as the diagonal movements helps ALOT! I'm the kind of person that does first and reads directions later.... it makes some things harder I suppose. :S

Whew! Finished, finally. Man that took a little while, Xandra kept getting on my nerves with that zappy thing she kept doing. But now IT Is DONE!

 

Hmm, I wonder what we'll do next? Hopefully Hanso didn't steal anything from anybody else in the near vicinity. ( I would have said I hope he didn't steal anything else period, but that's asking for a bit much :) )

I finally got all my achievements completed. Now I just have to get the last book that I missed. My first few times through I thought it was just the two books. One strategy that I used the most is move diagonally as often as possible, that way you can avaid getting zapped.

 

EDIT: I got my last book two tries after getting my second achievement. This puzzle was definitely fun, and really makes you think. lol, excited for more... :)

I got zapped 4 or five times :angry: But I eventually got it done with all achievements! Now I can't wait for the next step :D
