I found her 2 times and no mist option. If I am getting the mist option for the day, I always have gotten it on the 1st try. Has any gotten the 7th mist yet? Maybe I'll try again later.

My husband has gotten his 7th mist today. He got it on his first time finding her. I've only found her once so far, and I didn't get the mist option.

Got my 7th mist today :D I do hate this 4 mist a week thing that must be going on, because it`s going to make this event much longer having to waste three mist-less days.

I've wanted to make sure that nothing came up, so I've been trying to get the 4 mists in the first 4 days. So far, I've been able to do it. And I've been able to help my husband do it too. I call him from work. "Hello?" "Tarla! Go here." :laughingsmiley:

 

I hope you start feeling better quickly. Being sick is no fun. I'm at work today. My work week just started. I have 3 days left in my work week, and of course, I don't need the mist those days. I'm off work Thursday, and that's when I'll need the mist again.

I've been stalking the Neoboards. That way it's instant, and I don't risk missing a sighting. Some sites don't update consistently enough.

Yeah, I've only missed one through using twitter. I always forget to check or refresh the neoboards so I figured the best option was getting a text so when she shows up my phone plays a clown honking noise and then I promptly go running to the computer.

On work days, I'm sitting in front of a computer for nearly 12 hours... and I tend to get bored. Like this afternoon, I couldn't take it anymore, so I pretty much refreshed 3 windows: TDN Forums, Neoboards, and the Garage Sale.

 

And sure enough, I maxed out my prizes today. And I've cleared 8 mists.

That's one of my favorite Weezer songs. I was kinda excited when I saw that tweet, except I was taking a nap and missed Tarla. I have them in my browser though, not my phone. I've missed a couple that way - been too slow. I was using the neoboards originally, but I got tired of refreshing them all the time.

I just got my 8th mist. Maybe this event is not as bad as I first thought it would be. I am having fun trying to collect each mist the days that I can get each mist. I can't wait to collect the rest.

Did the week restart? I've definitely been able to get more than 5 prizes today and I've seen a few posts about people being able to get the 9th mist.

I have a question...please. My sister and I missed the start of this event so we both began on the 11th. I got my 4th mist yesterday, but she didn't...what exactly does that mean for her? I know she can't finish it before the event ends now, because there's 16 pieces, but will she still get a prize, or what happens...? Thank you :D

TNT has stated if you have cleared at least one mist by the time the event ends, they will offer a different way to clear the mist (except it will be harder)

I was able to clear a few mists in the first few days of this event, but then I got busy with things IRL so I couldn't be online looking for Tarla. So I missed a few days, I'm not sure how many, but now I've been clearing mists for the past week I'd say. The thing is I just don't know how many mists I've cleared! Is there a way for me to find out? Could I do a screenie of my mist and compare it to someone else's?

 

Totally should have gotten a mist counter at the beginning of this thing :rolleyes_anim:

If you lost track of the number of times you have cleared the mist, there is an easy way to find out.

 

First, go to the Tarla's Tour of Mystery page. When you are there, right click on the page (on the background, not on any images or links). A menu will appear, in which you select 'View Page Source'. Then you scroll down (or search for pp1), untill you see a list like this:

pp1 means you've found uncovered piece number 1, and so on. It's important to realise you may not always uncover the pieces in the right order. It's possible that you uncovered piece 8 (pp8), while you've not yet uncovered piece 5 and 7 (pp5 and pp7). Your list could look like this:

You need to count the number of pieces (pp's) listed to see how many you've cleared. In this example, 6 were cleared; pieces 1-4, 6 and 8.

I found Tarla for the first time a few minutes ago, but no mist. So hopefully the next time I see her, I will get my 12th mist and I will be done with the mists for a few days. :)
