Can it change your pet into a Draik or Krawk? And I'd like to have the avatars on my main, but I kinda want my side account to be the zapping account, what do you think? Side or main? Also a bit of encouragement would be nice, share your amazing lab zap stories? But for now i am using it as collateral. I really want one though. Yes though you can get a draik and a krawk from it but they won't count for avatars right? It's very unpredictable, and your pet can end up in worse shape than when you originally started. I thought it was worth it. I mainly use it for adoption pets now. I know that the lab can't turn your pet Baby, but I don't know of any other colors. Lia Seeya Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Awesome colour changes I got from the lab: Darigan (Kacheek, sent her over to my side); Desert (Uni, re-zapped); Robot (Uni zapped into a Elephante, I got the avatar and re-zapped) and my latest colour changing zap is Maraquan. :D It's pretty cool. If you want to risk your special pets, perhaps you could have a 'lab rat', do you want side or main? :P As Ruto's mentioned, the lab ray is very unpredictable so don't think you'll get your dream pet easily... draiks and krawks are possible but very unlikely Lab stories: Zapped a pteri from the pound, turned faerie. From TDN's article: You may only zap a pet once per day, and only one pet. But beware that something disastrous could happen, do don't go and get access without thinking on the consequences! I've gotten my share of luck, including a Coconut Jubjub, several maraquan pets, a faerie, a gray, several halloween/desert/pink, etc, but I haven't gotten a good zap in months >.< It helped me get a lot of pet avatars, but it's really annoying when you get 0 good zaps for a while. Getting it for stats = BAD idea. I have a pet with 139 hp, and is only level 5 thanks to the lab. Steph posted the best link for your questions ;3 I think main would be best so you wouldn't have to waste time transferring pets if you get an avatar zap. I bought the lab map on my main because, well, it's my main xD I never forget to zap, transferring is unnecessary, and it's cleaner to put a pet up for adoption/trade when people don't have to root through sides to find it so they can verify it's your pet. I have a few of the map pieces right now and I'm saving up for the rest. As long as I can choose which pet I'm good. I've only seen it once and that was about five years ago - there's debate as to if its still possible now. Presumably if you can get a Draik you can also get a Krawk but that one I can't confirm as I've never seen it personally. Not sure about amazing stories from me, I've been zapping for many years now so I've had virtually every colour that its possible to get xD Chocolate would be the only one I haven't had I think! Masaryk Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I like having the lab map. It's kind of fun, hoping that you will get one of your dream pets from it. I haven't ended up with anything amazing, like a Draik, but I have had my lab rat get painted some pretty cool colours, like Desert Wocky and Robot Koi. Those were my two best. I also had a pet get zapped pink, but I forgot that it was an avatar colour and it got zapped another colour the next day. I don't regret getting the lab map, though I only paid for two pieces of it; the rest were from random events. I just got tired of waiting for the last two. And to answer your question, I think it's worth it but quite unpredictable. You may get a series of awesome zaps, or a whole bunch of stat degrades. It's also quite nice for fostering pets.
