  1. I've been restocking at mostly the Bakery, the Chocolate Factory & Fresh Foods and I don't seem to be making a real profit. I have a size 50 store stocked to the brim & I've actually had to slow down my buying, because I don't have room! The problem for me is that the prices just seem to keep changing. I buy something that sells for a profit, but then the price goes down sometime after I put it into my shop. I just repriced my shop and I don't even want to think about how much I'm probably going to lose. I know restocking is still a thing, so I'm wondering if i'm missing the big picture here. I actually like restocking it's pretty fun. I'd love to get better at it (and hopefully fix my dilemma) Any advice or general information for a restocking newbie?
  2. Hi. I've been doing some research on reselling and thought I would give it a try. So far I've stuck with codestones as I figured they are pretty easy to sell. I'm wondering what are the easiest to sell items? I figure paint brushes, and MP are pretty easy too.
  3. Hi everyone, I have been playing Neopets for almost seven years now, and I have recently started to use restocking as a way to make Neopoints. I understand the basics of restocking and have researched the shops, but for some reason I am always too slow when I see something really worth buying. The Toy Shop had stocked something worth 1.6 million neopoints on Jellyneo, and I was lucky enough to see the item get stocked, but by the time I clicked on it, the item had already sold. Is there any trick to being super fast? Also, are there any times that are better to restock than others? Which are the best shops to restock? Thank you! :)
  4. (Last updated: 18 Feb 2016) Hi everyone :) I've recently been trying to get into restocking and couldn't find an up-to-date guide, so decided to make my own, by listing every item in a given shop, and stating the profit that can currently be made. The completed shops I have so far are: Neopian Fresh Foods, Chocolate Factory, Tropical Food Shop, The Bakery, Neopian Health foods, Magical Bookshop. Currently working on: Unis Clothing Shop, Grooming Parlour. I'm posting this for 3 reasons: 1)Because I don't wanna keep this info to myself since it's pretty useful, and would help alot of people when trying to restock :) 2)I'd love any feedback anyone has on this, go ahead and let me know what you think! 3)This is a big project to say the least. Especially since it needs to be kept up to date, and I'd happily accept help from any friendly neopets users, however you don't have to help me out in order to use it at all! It's just a big project, as I said :) If you do want to help me out with the spreadsheet in any way, or notice I've got any prices wrong, please neomail me in game (user: phantomkay) or post on here :) Links: Unpublished: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y4HEOxV5t8IE94XEx8L72Hu7JqT_hR1Z3NHzgPtp-sc/edit#gid=556261593 Published: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y4HEOxV5t8IE94XEx8L72Hu7JqT_hR1Z3NHzgPtp-sc/pubhtml Thankyou for taking the time to read this and any feedback I receive, hope it helps someone! :)
  5. So I took about a year long hiatus and I'm back into the Neopets scene. I've been trying to fill up my store and I have been restocking at the Neopian Book Store. At random, the entire stock will disappear, about 50% of the time I go and check tiki shack and they are selling items so, to my understanding I haven't been RS banned. The other 50% of the time I will check and every other store is out of stock too. Am I missing something? Is there a new system and I just didn't get the memo? TIA
  6. Like the title says, which is better? I can't decide on which to restock and I could use some expert restocking advice since it seems all the restocking guides on the internet are outdated.
  7. For real, I'm actually enjoying those occasional lag spikes. It has made restocking so much easier (and a little bit more stressful since it makes pages take forever to load). In fact I just found something really nice in Pizzaroo... a "PIZZA OF DEATH"! now the question is to sell or feed it to my gourmet pet. I wish I could get this lucky in the Chocolate Factory for the avatar. I know it doesn't make sense how lag could be helpful but... it is. So has anyone else had any good luck from the lag spikes despite how annoying they can be?
  8. Here's a question for all you veteran restockers from a newbie. So I've been staking out the Plushie Palace since it restocks super fast, and I've seen loads of plushies come and go. I was lucky a while back and caught a plushie that was selling for a sort of high price (about 5k) and it was worth about 14k. So I'm just like, sweet, and I put it in my shop. Then a little later, I find another plushie selling for about the same price, and it's worth only about 1k. What gives? I've read loads of restocking guides and I haven't seen this addressed. How exactly are you supposed to know what's good and what's bad? I mean, those plushies were basically the same price and they sold in user shops for a completely different amount. It's really confusing, and I don't know if I'll have the patience to sit there and memorize the value of everything that pops up unless that's the trick and I absolutely have to. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated since this has been getting on my nerves and inhibiting my restocking ability greatly. :/
