I got extremely lucky once and got a ....515! Ugh... The second highest after that was a 300. I honestly don't get how it's possible for people to get over 10,000 on that game :sad01_anim:

 

with perseverance ... keep making the mines destroying each other .. it took me over an hour and a half to get the avatar .. and of course a lucky 500 dubloon would help a lot :)

I remember many years ago, probably the second time I started playing Neopets again after a break, I was living with my then-boyfriend, in a student house. I wasn't a student (technically I wasn't meant to be living there, but hey) and had all the time in the world, so I took to passing the time with Neopets. At some point, my boyfriend dropped out, but still had a few months left to live in the house, so I introduced him to Neopets. At that point, his best friend, who lived with us and NEVER went to class, decided he wanted to play, too. And then our other housemate was on academic hiatus due to depression, and she started playing too. So there were four of us in the house, with nothing to do all day but play Neopets. But we only had 3 computers between us.

 

It was dog eat dog, I can tell you.

 

wow that's quite a story .. I started playing on and off in 2000 (i was already a teen) and in 2004 or so I introduced my kid brother to Neopts .. he made an account , deemed it too silly and quit ... I still play . and he still calls me immature

5K is nothing. I spent like 100k yesterday trying to get the Kelp avatar. I didn't get offered left-overs a single time. :/

 

I could never afford Kelp .. and even if I did I wouldn't take my pets there .. even for an avvie that I'll never use .. he he he

I spend 5k daily trying to get the Lever of Doom avatar :grrr:

 

I also play DoMIII for the avatar but i can never get more than 1700 for the life of me :*

the Trading post rules set by TNT insist you inculde an item. in this case, any junk 1 np item works :) plus the required amount for the trade of course :king:

well I believe you have to get a certain amount of NP's before it counts on your highscore table

you don't send your score in this game , whatever points you win or lose will be automatically added or deducted from the NP you have on hand.

 

As for appearing on the high scores table , you need to win or lose a certain number of neopoints for that ..

I did win 502,250 np on it once but I didn't get a trophy because the high score was much higher than this :angry:

sometimes TNT are updating their databases or something and log everyone out , and I'm not worried about CGers .. but my question is do you hyperventilate and almost pass out from anxiety ? :mellow:

as long as you play neopets , you are a child , even if you're 50 years old looooool

i like having more than one side account to play easy money games like kass basher and fashion fever more than just 3 times. after a few days i 'sell' an item to the other account for all the cash they haave at the time

 

wow - you're gonna get yourself frozen faster than a blizzard of ice ... TNT always check TDN and other help sites to see who's breaking the rules and whatnot .. playing games and making any kind of profit on your side(s) is not allowed !!

sometimes Neopets logs me out for any number of reasons .. I'm always , always scared of being frozen though I never ever break the rules .. but it has happened to me before .. I was unfairly frozen .. and this "ghost of neopets past" is always haunting me ... so while logging in , I'm usually hyperventilating , holding my breath , watching intently , and the 3 or 4 brief seconds while I'm logged in are the longest ever ... dreading that Chia police <_<

in addition to the above solutions (wheel of knowledge, poisonous jelly and lollipop) .. you can also spin the wheel of misfortune .. if you land on the disease icon you can get a random sickness .. yesterday my pet had blurry vision and i got neopox from the wheel of misfortune , the cure for which is only 800 np .. however the WoM diseases are kinda random since they change all the time ..

I believe sharing items on Neopets is against the rules ... there's always so much drama about it ...

 

imagine losing the potion in a random event or the other person suddenly changing their mind about their pet or or or ... there can be a 100 different scenarios on how this can go wrong ...

 

my advice is adopt a pet from the pound , morph it with the cheapest potion available (some trans potions ARE buyable) then put it back in the pound and it'll be re-adopted by someone who like mutant pets ..

I can't afford to hoard any more items .. I've been trying to get rid of my own hoards ... but good for you buying those stamps .. yes they will be worth around 100k soon , then drop a bit .. stabilize for a while .. then inflate again ..

 

but then again u can never predict with 100% accuracy .. the Neopian economy is muy loco o_O

that's great I haven't played Dice A Roo in ages either .. I shall go play nowwww . I miss all the food you gain from it and random events that can happen ^_^

yeah .. i knew lilangel back in the day when neopets was still young (i have been playing for 10 years btw) .. but we're not in touch anymore and it would be awkward/lame to contact her again I think o_O

I never won the Jackpot on anything , but once I won 500k on the Black Pawkeet Slots when the Jackpot was about 870k so it was a sweet deal .. how so ? I hit some really weird combo ... I think I have a screenie of it somewhere
