most people paint these poor pets for the sake of paint brush clothes , then they pound them and get to keep the clothes !! :angry:

 

I think pounded pets should keep their paint brush clothes , otherwise what's the point of "pound catch" anymore ? ?

I hope the Christmas Orbulon is an Advent calendar prize .. because I'm starting to collect bells and items with bells on them to add to my gallery ... and I don't need another 800k item <_<

i have found Nimmo's Pond and Magax : Destroyer to be a couple of the easiest avatars

 

in Nimmo's Pond , all you need is to get the yellow bullets early in the game , level them up and then spin like hell shooting non stop .. and you also have 3 bombs to help you ... just know which power-ups to get and which to avoid.

 

in Magax , all you need is some patience ... you need to kill all the enemies in every stage , so make sure you don't kill all the scorchios because you'll lose on the cybunnies which give you more points ... try to to kill the cybunnies first and watch for the number of enemies destroyed on your game screen .. it only shows the scorchios .. so when u have 1 left .. turn around and look for other cybunnies or the possible 1+ point jubjub (they can really count in the end if you're going for a trophy) ... be patient and don't rush it ...

the lab map is great on the long run ...

 

first of all if you're a bit mischievous like me ... it's so much fun to use and see your pet change species / color / gender ... my latest zap was a ZOMBIE PEOPHIN !!

 

the lab ray is also great for raising stats .. but as someone said before me .. it raises them unevenly .. especially the defence .. it seems for every time i gain 1 defence point , i lose 3 in return ... that's why i rely on Coltzan for my defence status .. but on the other hand , my pet has 98 str and 285 HP which helped me cap most of the shadows in the last plot (except the last 2) ...

 

also , there are colors which are exclusive to the lab ray .. which are chocolate , custard , clay , robot , ice , sponge , jelly , snot . In addition to some species colors like like the coconut and garlic jubjubs , msp poogle , mallow grundo , and alien aisha .. and most of these pets are highly wanted when trading pets ..

 

you might get a lucky zap and have an avatar pet : fire blumaroo , orange grundo , pea chia , halloween ruki , halloween lupe , darigan tonu , etc .. and it's definitely better than going thru the humiliation of begging people to lend you their avatar pets ...

 

personally i have found the lab ray a very gratifying and fun experience ... I have had 3 accounts on neo since I started playing ... and my primary objective each time was the Lab Ray before anything else ...

 

wish I could a second lab map for my side ... I'd definitely love to get more than one zap per day ...

900k is a reseller (RS) price .. but it's on the high-end RS prices ... some people would offer 700 or 800k ... I wouldn't accept it if I were you .. unless I was desperate .. keep asking for 1Mil+ ... I hope you succeed in selling it soon :woot:

my own guild died recently as well and I'm a little heart broken because I've been in it for more than 5 years .. I'm not ready for another guild right now .. maybe in a while ..

I have color changes quite often .. just not the species/colors I like .. it was once zapped into a Mynci and had like 10 color changes ...

I've always wanted a HALLOWEEN Hissi .. although I'm currently happy with my Magma and Robot ones .. but one day I'll change the Magma to Halloween ...

The Book Shop is a good place to start .. MOST books sell for a nice profit and they usually restock in big amounts (Gourmet Cooking For Your Pet stocked like 16 ones the last time I saw it .. I bought 3)

 

Also I like to hang around the Pharmacy and get Medicinal Soap and the Cookies ...

 

The Clothing shop is sometimes good but the wearables sell out very fast ..

 

Mystical Surroundings is good too if you try for the more expensive backgrounds

I personally suggest you go for a draik. my favorite draik color is chocolate ,,,

if you want to have a prized gallery that can compete in the Gallery Contest , especially with a common theme like sand ... then yes ...

 

if you want the bragging rights of having something rare and unique in your gallery , then yes ...

 

if you want a more complete gallery , then yes ...

 

I never buy my pets books or food .. but I never hesitated in paying any amount of NP's for my gallery .. I have a music gallery and each one of the items I'm missing costs an arm and a leg but I'm always saving for the next item .. the moment I have enough NP I just buy it !! I have literally spent millions of NP's already, and in return I won the Gallery Spotlight despite the fact that there are tens of music galleries out there and one of them won the spotlight not much earlier than mine (a couple months). I've been entering the contest since 2006 (with a 3-year hiatus from neopets in between) and of course not every week , I would only send in a new entry every 3-4 months or so when I felt that it's updated enough , and I finally won when my friend made me a custom layout in addition to the super items the gallery contained .. the win was only 10,000 np .. I didn't do it for the money .. I did it for the recognition , fame and the shiny trophy ... of course I'm obsessed with my gallery and even securing the win didn't slow me down on upgrading it with every new item I can afford.

 

The way I see it , a gallery is a great investment in case you decided to resell it all ... most normal rarity items deflate over time, but most retired (180) or special (101) items will only continue to inflate in price and they'll more than make up for it .. like the dancing aishas stamp which I obtained for less than 1000np and now it's 200k .. or the punk rocker hotdog which I bought in 2004 for 200k (that was the price of the full lab map at the time, mind you) and now it's worth 2 mil ..

 

(but of course I'm never gonna sell my gallery .. money comes and goes but precious items are priceless .. besides I don't really have any pet goals on Neopets .. I have all my dream pets which I got mostly lucky with ... that's it ...)

 

Also sometimes telling the seller you're collecting items for your gallery will get you a huge discount ... that's how I was able to obtain the wock til you drop trading card , gruundo fan usuki and other items ...

it has become so old and boring that I didn't even notice it today until someone mentioned it on the neoboards

suppose you got a speckled PB for 38k .. the average wiz price is 40k .. and you wanted to sell it for 41k , no one will buy it ... you'll have to resell it at a loss .. since the price is constantly changing and people tend to get a little bit competitive so some would go down to 36k or 37k ...

 

it's only worth it if you found one for , say , 20k .. or if someone mispriced their paint brush .. but that only happens once in a blue moon ...

 

so in general it's not a good idea .. you might get lucky once or twice but it's not a good money-generating plan .. your margin of profit is very low ..

Lenny Conundrums make me feel stupid because I'm not good at puzzles at all despite my Medical education , so I never try to even look at them <_<

TNT mentioned more than once that the Neopets characters in Neopia don't undergo the same rules that OUR neopets have ... it's confusing , I know , but they seem to be happy with that explanation .. that's why you have Jazan (Kyrii) married to Nabile (Ixi) .. and Roxton (Lutari) in love with Clara (Wocky) .. also apparently Hanso (Ixi) and Brynn (Kougra) ...

I'm not going to play Apple Bobbing before the plot is over .. for one my active is my lab rat is my BD pet .. and I won't risk him getting blurred vision , I just cured him a couple days ago .. also I'm battling the Oblivion with my Eyrie (because she has low HP and loves losing) so I won't risk her getting blurred vision either.. second I would never put my mutant Lenny as an active and risk getting Boochi or some other weird RE .. knowing my luck with these things .. third i hate this avatar .. but i love orange .. so i'm gonna try to get it .. and yeah I got the impostor apple a few days ago as well !!

I got extremely lucky once and got a ....515! Ugh... The second highest after that was a 300. I honestly don't get how it's possible for people to get over 10,000 on that game :sad01_anim:

 

with perseverance ... keep making the mines destroying each other .. it took me over an hour and a half to get the avatar .. and of course a lucky 500 dubloon would help a lot :)
