    about Gelert MP , it seems no one wants to sell for less than 750k ... someone was asking for 500k and when I offered they mailed me telling me someone offered 650k and would I offer more? (obviously a scam) ... so I said no ...

    hehe , thanks , I don't mind old cake .. i mean , it's CAKE :D :D :D once I was away and my parents went to this wedding and they got some left-over cake .. they kept it in the fridge for about a month .. and I still ate it :P

      To me, only the first 50 or so pages were hard to go through. once I got through that, I found it a rather easy book. I usually try to read a book before I see the movie, because I don't like it if they already "imprinted" certain images on me. Makes it hard to watch certain movies though, I had a real hard time watching bag of bones because Pierce Brosnan just doesn't fit as Mike Noonan, in my opinion. But I'd choose a book over a movie a 100 times over, anyway. ;)

      u r 100% right , same with Thinner and The Running Man .. but I can separate the movie from the book to a certain extent .. in general , characters based on King's books turn out very different than how they were portrayed in the book .. my biggest let down was Ed Harris in Needful Things

      Actually, Needful Things was the only book I have a really hard time with. It just doesn't catch my attention. Maybe I should try again, it's been 10 years since I read it. Maybe it will easier to read now I'm older.

      I do have to say that I didn't read the Stand yet, somehow I have a lot of respect for that book, LOL. I am a little hesitant to start it.
