how will you even decide who gets the neopoints? by what basis? who needs it most? who's the most qualified to manage that much money? whose answers match your set of beliefs most closely?

I hate how I'm paying 21k+ for each level upgrade now :(

that's around half of my daily income, so i'm just barely able to restock and upgrade one level a day. soon enough it'll become one level a week, then per month.... :(

you guys probably never bought tickets for avatar concerts. the concerts that dont give out avatars tend to be super empty, just because there's no demand for them.

i've been wanting to do the jazzmosis avatar for a while now but always forget to check what dates they're on :P

Am i the only one to notice that this entire codestones vs dubloons debate can be analogous to the age-old question: pirates or ninjas?

:P just found the similarity funny, since dubloons = obviously pirates, and the ninja school uses red codestones.

I use mine primarily to resell stuff I've won/found; but I also restock on half price day - usually school supplies, medicines, beauty items, and foods because they sell quickly. It's a quick way to make a bunch of NP. I buy 100 or so items and restock throughout the month from my SDB. Right now I have over 800 items in my SDB (got the avie a long time ago) I'm just a natural packrat so I dump everything in there -even junk. I keep the junk because I can feed ANYTHING to my grarrl - sludge, shoes, etc.

School supplies sell fast? I considered restocking there but I always figured there's no demand for them.

Neopets premium is available globally and without any restrictions on your life. By that i mean that if you want a neopets premium, you dont exclusively have to sign a contract with... say telus or rogers for your internet. on the other hand, for neopets mobile, you're basically restricted to whatever providers neopets have an agreement with. This makes neopets mobile significantly less accessible, especially considering that people wouldn't switch providers just to be able to access neopets mobile. if and when neopets mobile become available with all major providers, then by all means buff it up. I just don't agree with constantly rewarding players for paying. I agree that there should be an incentive for paying to play, but giving paid players exclusive access to a significant portion of the gameworld (and conseuqently all the items that restock at said world) is pretty much sending out a message to all the other players: "pay or quit."

10x bottled faeries is 30k a day. that's what I make a day from games. that's a SIGNIFICANT amount of money I'd say.

If they improved lutari island it really imbalances the game for everyone who has no access to neopets mobile. basically neopets mobile meant only US players could have access to lutari island because verizon and T-mobile aren't really that big anywhere else.

If they were to improve lutari island, then I say get rid of all these tacky incentives TNT has put in to bait people to get neopets mobile (free bottled faeries? selective money tree? shops whose restocks can be controlled by players? sounds sweet to me if it werent for the fact that only a select few users get any chance toa ccess it.)

So - with a size 100 shop... are you really into restocking? I have a slow connection so restocking takes a long time for me.

Yeah I restock a lot, but more to collect than anything else :P If you notice I only have 1 of each item stocked in my shop. my SDB is chock full of duplicates but the reason why I only put 1 at a time in my shop is because I'm a collector more than a restocker. Everything (except around 5 things) in my shop are restocked from the main shops :D

If i had a hissi I'd run and grab the lab map just so I can (eventually :P) zap it into an ice hissi.

or yenno, get a FFQ.

As an add-on to this rather self-congratulating thread, what are your goals in neopets? are they temporary or will you simply stop progressing after you succeed? why are they your goals?

I personally always figured that report-happy people do what they do in the hopes of bogging down the system so much that they, the real cheaters, can get off scot free.

Their plan looks like a sound success to me so far.

the wheel illnesses change periodically. you can probably google search what illnesses WoE and WoM is giving out right now (though I guess you found out the hard way :P)

If you have books, stamps, cards, other collectibles lying around, I'd be interested in purchasing them in bulk.

I have pretty good luck with scratchcards actually. for three days i bought 5 cards a day (from SW and the kiosk) and just scratched 5 a day, and all three days I won 10k :P more than covers the cost of buying 5 scratchcards. stopped doing it after i lost completely on the fourth day lol.

Actually, no you wouldn't. only toy pinatas work (I believe as of now there are only 4 of them available) and the tax beast pinata isn't one. its item description says it doesn't hold any candies.

the way I see it, when the market price of an item is 1 np, it has nowhere to go but up, and thus it's economically a waste to sell anything at 1np when in the foreseeable future it might inflate to a whooping 5 np or even 20np :P

I don't think it's mean to accept that offer. The buyer is responsible for doign some research before making an offer; what was the seller supposed to do? warn the buyer that he/she was ripping themselves off? haha. If I was her I wouldn't even neomail the person - unscrupulous buyers are the best kind!

I think most people's problem with earning neopoints is lack of motivation. lets face it, playing the same games over and over again, 3 times a day for hours on end isn't the most exciting routine ever. do you have a hobby you need to finance? I use all my money on my shop/collection, and so playing games for hours isnt nearly as tedious just because I have a set goal in mind (e.g. I need ____ np to upgrade my shop, so ill earn _____ neopoints so i can upgrade my shop and restock some more).
