Maybe it not much, but three pf my pets just made it to the Pirate level at the swashbuckling academy. Training can be annoying and repetitive, but I find very satisfying every time they go up a level.

I think it's temporary. They are removing all barriers to transfers to account for the massive amount of pet slots that will be available soon. I don't they said when they would reinstate them though.
