Wait there is??? I always thought it was just the one thing at 11:59 PM where you refresh to get the halloween theme for the site! I've been missing out. I wonder what other yearly events existed but I just never knew. I'm surprised I even knew about the Negg event at this point haha

A halloween trick-or-treat event would be so cool! Halloween's my favourite day of the year, and I've always wished there was a halloween event on neopets. I remember participating in the spooky food eating competition event, and that one was pretty fun. I think that was around halloween if my memory serves me right

Yesss! I love the scavenger hunt aspect of the negg festival. Faerie quest event though, I've never had the chance to be a part of that, and I'm super excited for my first one! I never even knew this was a thing until this year, despite participating in multiple Negg festivals previously. Don't know where I was, haha

Don't know if anybody else is also excited for the Negg Festival, but I didn't see a thread talking about it being announced by TNT saying they're coming soon. Maybe I'm too excited for it. But I'm checking the neopets news page everyday to make sure I didn't miss the beginning of it by accident. Anybody else excited for these 2 events?

You need more than 30 unique items in your shop, then under the shop keeper, you'll see "Order By Cost". If you click on that, it'll order your items by cost instead of ID number. I just noticed the "Find" function though, which I don't remember ever seeing! Don't know if that's new or if I've just been unobservant.

I was sorting them by ID number, but yeah, since I removed some of the items, same concept of the shifting. In the future, I'll definitely be doing a refresh first.

haha yeah I find it weird too that it seems so inconsistent for that wheel in particular. Can't use 2 fingers to scroll down on my trackpad when my mouse pointer is hovering over the wheel picture either

So today, while I was pricing my items via shop wizard, I finished what I was doing on the first page which was ordered by ID, but removed a couple of items, and pressed update twice by accident. It gave me an error that said that I was trying to remove something from my shop that wasn't there anymore. No big deal. I went back, and checked the prices of everything which looked like they were still good, and pressed update again. I continued to price more items. Then, I pressed order by price, which took me to my cheapest items, and found out half my items were mispriced! A couple of my high-ish cost items were priced at half the price, and I quickly fixed those. Unfortunately, I was too late in fixing this: and I ended up selling a Vux codestone for less than 1/4 of the market price. At least I got it free from the battledome. Is this a known glitch? Has anybody experienced this before? I couldn't find anything about this by googling. I'm guessing it happened because of my double clicking by accident in combination with removing items from the shop. But now I know to be extra careful.

Hmm, between awakened and seekers, I still need those 2 avatars, so I guess I'll be waiting for what more people choose. Although oxbridge says 45% chance of seekers winning and 41% chance of awakened winning, that seems really close. Anybody know what some different guilds are going with?

I'm super happy about the re-introduction of the clock, and the Valentines theme looks so nice!

Does anybody know if the Pale Moon method works? I'm trying it out right now, and it seems like it's not registering my keyboard presses in Escape from Meridell Castle, Kass Basher, nor Meerca Chase, but it works for Assignment 53. I tried Assignment 53 before installing ublock, but it still works after ublock, so I'm not sure if it's because of that.

haha or maybe there will be another curveball this week. Sway is an option, so maybe the same people who went ham last time will do the same this time. I need the avatar for both sway and awakened order (my brain is kinda tired), so I'm trying to decide which one still. Does anybody know where I can see the vote results of the obelisk guild? That might influence my decision

I asked the person on neoboards from last week who did 900 (not 9000 apparently) and they said the point scoring system is one point per battle and that difficulty didn't matter (although I think that's contrary to the original obelisk war?). Kind of glad about that since my neopets are kind of weak, but I guess that's information to keep in mind for next time then

I'm not sure if anybody has been experiencing this recently too, but ever since flash ended, half the time I try to go on certain pages on neopets, the page becomes unresponsive about 5 seconds in. These pages include neomail, neoboard preferences, and island training. There's not even flash on these pages. There are probably more, but these are the ones at the top of my head and where I experience this the most. I'm using chrome browser if that helps. Restarting my computer doesn't seem to work either. Just that after maybe an hour or 2, I'll come back and it's okay again. Is anybody else experiencing this? Is there something I should do to prevent the pages from freezing? It's becoming really frustrating to play. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I was kind of wondering the same thing, I tried looking it up to see how that person from last battle calculated 9000 battles but couldn't find anything. I was fighting thieves only this round. Maybe because we were only fighting thieves, it cancelled out? Spent so much time battling each other that the third team came out on top? No idea if that's how it actually works lol. Although I'm kind of bummed about awakened not winning, I find it pretty funny though that brute squad won though despite thieves being the predicted winner for the second time in a row.

I don't think that's an unpopular opinion at all. I think the people are more upset with all the non-working changes rather than the end of Flash itself. The only reason I'm looking to get back onto flash is because almost none of the games have updated and I still need the avatars. For most some of the games, once I have the avatar, I never want to see that game again lol.

Oh that's awesome! I didn't know about this guide, and have been trying to find a way to access the old shockwave games too, which it talks about! I've been so stressed about doing all the flash games the last few days, especially the ones I'm not so good at. Hopefully with this guide, it'll buy me a little more time to play.

Out of these 3 I still need the awakened avatar, so I guess that's what I'm going with. I'm not sure if you follow the neoboards, but I was curious after last week too, and there was a user who posted saying that they wanted the sway boon really badly for restocking purposes, calculated that they needed to do over 9000 battles to counter everybody else's battles, and did that many battles to ensure sway victory. Sway isn't in the equation this time around so it might be more close to votes this time around.

Oh no! Which internet browser do you use to play neopets on? Did you update your browser recently? I just double checked with my chrome browser and could still play, but I didn't update anything.

If you go to your shop, the language changing option should be at the bottom. It's weird because if you just change it to Japanese, it will change back to the English on the next refresh. However, I tried a couple different things, and I found what made it stick was changing it to Japanese, then load a page in beta, then go back to the classic page and it should be "Japanese". I was able to change the language to "Japanese" today to attach a Snicklebeast to my neopet, but it seems like languages are broken for the item names. Instead of actual words, it's replaced with "???????????? (?????)" . I tried to use the same trick for the robo pet avatar but it seems like it doesn't work anymore. Kinda disappointed that I spent the neopoints on the item for it to not work.
